Bit late to the party but your Inquisitor is looking really great love the colours and depth to the hood, very cool.

I love how square and mean that looks. Great arm, and I can't wait to see it all colored up. Makes me wish more folks did resin-casts of their crazy creations.

I wish I could but I have zero knowledge of the whole casting-thing.
Anyway I will use this one as a stand-in for the heavy psycannon, the Volkite runs at S7 Ap4 and while they usually have better range than 24" it trades multiple shots and possible extra hits for large blast and rending... sooo

Holy heck, that thing is awesome... I've got absolutely no clue what it is, but I don't think that matters. It's the coolest mass-of-skull-tentacles-on-tracks-with-a-gun-and-axe I've ever seen.

When the model is finished and on the gaming table the Volkite will have been massively worth the effort. It looks ace.

I got so distracted by the sepia pic I totally failed to scroll up to the beautiful volkite beamer. That thing's amazing!

Everything is fantastic, as is all of your stuff STC. I really like the way you've done the Inquisitor a lot. Most people who do radical Inquisitors end up making them look too over the top heretical to the point that they look more like agents of Chaos than radical Inquisitors, but you've done an excellent job balancing the ornate look of a puritan with the sinister grimness of a radical.

That Mechanicus thing is interesting. Funny I am working on a Mechanicus continent in my army and buying none of the FW stuff. So many amazing plastic kits to convert instead

That is looking awesome. It's noticeably not a Dreadknight, but the conversion looks seamless, and the base seems like it might be interesting too.

Ok CC, I'll paint a litte more before I call weekend and wander off into a drunken haze.

I put this thing together from some leftover house-parts and a little plasticard, primed and painted it today. Took about 3 hours, not including priming and the time it needed to set.

I'd thought I'd use it as a backdrop for photos, you guys deserve something better than just a shelf and a bit of wall don't you think?
Quite a rough paintjob but it got the work done, I'll come back to it later and touch up details, weather it a bit more with something else than just rust and see if I can get some crates and perhaps a rat or two stuck along the walls.

Posters.. it needs a few nice propaganda-leaflets and some purityseals.. as I said.. I'll get back to it later.

You could drop that model in the middle of Seasame Street and he would automatically convert the surrounding area into 'Moody and Dramatic'.

The Dreadnought looks like it's shaping up to be awesome. The terrain piece is also really nice, the color palette accents the model very well. The styles and shading makes the two work seamlessly with one another.

Your INQ28 work continues to impress! Stunning work!

I like the way the floor came out on your backdrop. I may have to "loot" the idea of a manufactured backdrop for my own mini showcasing. Nice work.

I like that backdrop, adds a great tone to the model and looks very neat/realistic.

@Jehan-reznor: hah, that model acctually began life as a Cypher-conversion but then took a turn into the Inq28-swamp once I realised that I would never field a Cypher.

@Warboss_Waaazag: Loot away! But it has to be awsome, or I will be sad and send ninjas to set fire to your feet.

I really love the inquisitor and that back drop fits in perfect, brilliant colours!

As people have pointed out this is, after all, the P&M section, not showcase so I will try to supply more wip/pip- pics.

In the spirit of that, here's some pics! Shocking, I know.


The Glaive arm of mr. big-and-nasty is almost done, frequent peepers of my work will recognise the deep indigo to emerald highlights on the armourpanel. As usual it's all brushwork and while fun, making that kind of fade without an airbrush is really tricky and takes quite some time.
If you listen really closely, I am sure you will hear the delighted squeals of Alpharius (mod) eco through the interwebs.




On the assassin-front the Vindicare have a finished black paintjob and is awaiting the rest, leather, metallics etc. and is comming along quite nicely.




Realising I needed a few more mechanicum models I reworked an old conversion that wasn't working into this lill' thing. I am concidering to give him a different weapon, maybe a gravpistol, instead of the las.. we'll see.
