Some more bionics for the arms, legs, etc and a bike riding pose.

Other than that good stuff

We are working on new prosthesis. The request for a new biker pose is noted.

No, you didn't miss the option for the female miniature because it's not there yet, but it's incoming ! Obviously you're not the only one waiting for it.

Then please, forget them. Seriously, the market is already oversaturated with sexy female figures. We really, really don't need more. Frankly, the female armor you've shown already is fairly sexed up. Could you, at the very least, make some vaguely realistic armor for the females, and possibly a second, more realistic female body template? I'd love that, since there's a real shortage of realistically armored/proportioned female figures. Always nice to have lots of choices...

Just my thoughts, anyways.

You'll probably make a killing if you provided a chest armor option that wasn't individual boob plate, but instead was a solid curved piece, at the very least.

I actually agree here. Mirror the variety available in the Male sculpts and it'll be fantastically awesome - even more so than it is now.

Maybe the market is oversaturated with sexy female figures, or maybe it's the proof that's exactly what people want. And according to the kickstarter successes of companies like Kingdomdeath or Raging Heroes my bet would be on the later. Of course nothing is sure, that's why we will do both covering and revealling clothes, to see what people prefer. Maybe people are indeed tired of bulletproof cleavages but to be honest I would be very surprised if we discover that sex doesn't sell after all.

I can understand that you don't like the oversexualization of women but our goal is not to fight stereotypes or to bring balance to the world, our goal is to provide our users (and hopefully soon customers) what they are willing to spend their hard earned money on.

Vertrucio wrote:You'll probably make a killing if you provided a chest armor option that wasn't individual boob plate, but instead was a solid curved piece, at the very least.

It's doable. In fact I believe it's already been done but it's not my job so I'm not sure (I can't ask since it's sunday).

Sinful Hero wrote:I've had some trouble with 3D printed models(WoW specifically was a complete waste of money and time for me); what kind of prep work do you expect for these models to get them table ready? Anything besides glue/primer/paint?
When printed, the models need a support for the overhanging parts. Look at those pictures (not from us)

You can see a ring, a cannon and its wagon. Under the cannon and the wagon you have the supports needed to print them. To save handling and minimize the risk of breaking during the shipping we will send the models with the support, meaning you will have to remove it.

Just a note, here the wagon is upside down but we won't do that. We will print the model standing on their feet, meaning the small imperfections left from the supports once you removed it will be beneath the model, making them less visible.

Another thing, the pictures are from a DLP 3D printer at 50µm. We are not sure if we'll use exactly that printer but we will use printers with the same technology and precision, so it gives you an idea of the final result.

Mathieu Raymond wrote:Can we order from the site already? I have a few dollars I'd be willing to throw your way, to test the waters.
Not yet unfortunately, we still lack the production capacity (mostly the printers). It's the main reason we will run a kickstarter/indiegogo campaign.

Mattlov wrote:I would love to see something like this for Mechs and tanks. I think there could be a big market for that.
From a software point of view, we could add almost any kind of model to the website, the only thing we can't really do yet are models with more than one customizable entity (a rider and his steed for example). The problem for tanks would be to actually print the 3D models for a reasonnable cost. Currently I don't think that condition could be meet for anything bigger than a WH40K dreadnought.

Nicely done.

Is there any chance you could add "rider" poses, for models on horses or other animals, and perhaps sitting in vehicles (driver, riding, shooting while seated)?

Also, samurai-style armor (historical, fantasy and futuristic/mecha) would be helpful

Can't say I like what you're saying, though I get where you're coming from - gotta move stock. Too bad you have to stoop low to do so, though I guess that says more about the wargaming demographic than it does you all.

At the very least it would be great if you could provide a wide variety of realistic, non-sexualized armor for your female figures. I'd kill for some post-Apoc wastelander stuff, both for men and women.

Any change of some snipers, both ballistic and energy snipers? I would love to buy some just to own as so far everything looks amazing!

EDIT: Also I would love some female armour for futuristic settings that looks like normal human armour, instead of boobs in the armour just like a curved chest area to compensate for the fact females have got boobs but done in such a way it looks...realistic (even though its for a futuristic setting)

EDIT 2: It would also be awesome if we could have gadgets, like trackers or radars or scanners, so like I could make a aquad of people like futuristic scavengers, searching the wreckage for salvage

If you're buying in bulk, yeah. I think it's reasonable for single model builds though - look at GW for example. even back in the day of blisters you'd go ~£10 for a single model.

I think it's reasonable, considering you're literally designing your own bespoke model here.

We indeed need more special weapons (sniper rifle, flamethrower,...) and gadgets, we will look into that, maybe when we are done with the minimal stuff for the female model (a few clothes, some poses and adapting the weapons from the male model).

For the armour with a curved chest we did a variant of a previous one:

Arbiter wrote:Really 4-8 Euro each? Isn't that a bit steep?

Nothing is certain yet but the price should be more between 4 and 6€ rather than 4 and 8€. Maybe 4-5€ for the backers of the upcoming kickstarter/indiegogo campaign and 5-6€ for the "real" price.

Note that those prices are with VAT. If you are outside the E.U. We will remove our French VAT and the shipper is supposed to ask you for the VAT of your country (but I'm not sure if they do it for such low value). French VAT is 20% so you have to remove 16.66% (because 1€ + 20% = 1.20€ and 1.20€ - 16.66% = 1€).

More importantly, we have high fixed costs (the website), so our cost by model (and hence our price) highly depends on our success. That means that we can have stretch goals that will reduce the price, something like -0.10€ for each 100.000€ of funding. I'm not saying it will be exactly that but it gives you an idea.

So if you are interested in our project but want a better price just talk about us! Spread the word!

Runnin up on ya.

i see me using this service as a cheap proto-type service to master minis that I'll cast myself or outsource if I need enough of them.

Six mistakes mankind keeps making century after century: Believing that personal gain is made by crushing others; Worrying about things that cannot be changed or corrected; Insisting that a thing is impossible because we cannot accomplish it; Refusing to set aside trivial preferences; Neglecting development and refinement of the mind; Attempting to compel others to believe and live as we do

The female models are here (finally) !!!

Sorry for the delay, it was a lot longer than expected, we couldn't reuse as much from the male model than we initially hoped and the female body brought several specific problems. We had to find a system for high heels, for better haircuts with hats, for breasts and we also spend a lot of time to define a beautiful standard.

I know some people here think female models are often too sexualized, on the other hand obviously it sells very well, which means a lot of people like it. I can only hope that we have found a way to satisfy both sides of the spectrum.

We focused on adding new armors/clothes and converting equipments from the male model (weapons and helmet mostly), so there is fewer choices in other locations.

The main difference with the male model is that the body choices also include underwear or tight suits to be worn beneath the “real” armors/clothes, since those armors/clothes sometimes tend to be revealing. There is also no possibility to add stuff like grenades, pockets on the torso like the male model for obvious reasons.

We add a new way to have hair and a hat, you can see it with the officer hat and the facial masks, there is only a couple of haircuts tough.

A couple of choices are not there yet, mostly on the head (you can't add goggles yet for instance) and the choice of poses is currently at its bare minimum, so some combinations might lack a matching pose.

We also had to change the way model IDs are encrypted (you can find it in “my models”, “share”, it's used to share a model you created with others). It turned out that the package we used to encrypt those IDs didn't always know how to decrypt them, which kind of defeat the purpose. So if you shared an ID, displayed an URL or a link to a spinning model they all changed, sorry for the inconvenience.

Hum, the absence of sci-fi armor is an oversight on our part. The modeler who did the armors prefers to work on medieval equipments so he started working on that and we simply forget about more futuristic armors.

We will definitively add sci-fi armors, maybe in September.

Don't hesitate to tell us what you think is missing, I can't guaranty we *will* do it but we will at least think about it.

Just a couple of thoughts from me, having played around with this more today.

More sci-fi stuff. Right now it's workable, but there's a lot of room for variety and so on.

Have you guys considered doing some anime style bits? I think there's some really good potential there.

More hair variety would be nice for both genders. I think some younger looking faces would be a good addition too.

Psychic/ magicy stuff would be cool to see too.

I'm still loving this, and it's only getting better with each update. When this launches, I will absolutely be buying from you guys.

I am REALLY REALLY liking what i am seeing.

Now here is some feedback

1- The designer is a bit awkward to use, i would advice to add labels to the parts of the main "model" prior to actually selecting the item you want.
2- We really need to have the models preview compared against the shadow of the core games minis, being "realistic" they can be really off when standing next to a gaming or heroic mini.
3- A feature to "Distort" body proportions to match those of other gaming companies would be awesome.

If this works out, i could definitely see my self ordering batches of say 5 troopers to design my custom masters for my infantry block, casting them in resin is trivial.

1. We will probably add a tooltip in the selection list, it will display the name of the items when you hover over their thumbnails.

2. We will add some pictures once we have a few printed models and we indented to show at least one photo with other companies' models. However I don't see the point of adding a shadow in the preview or in any 3D views, especially since at some point you will probably be able to change the scale. We have created the 3D models with 28mm in mind but from a software point of view we could easily switch to another scale, 54mm for inquisitor for example (we had some requests about that). The only reason we don't really talk about it is because we are unsure if the printing will be cost effective, at least at the beginning.

3. It's not possible to do that with our software without a massive overhaul, and even if it were we probably won't add distorts that allow you to make models that look exactly like other company's models, it's a way to avoid IP trouble.

If you dont offer the same model distorting it would not make a difference the problem is that hte torso size of a heroic model or the hand sizes or the weapon sizes are really different when compared to historical or realistic once, thats what we would like to compare or change.
