Thanks for the comments as always!

I've gone a bit mad... normally I make a couple then paint a couple, but I'm attempting to do 2 runt herds in one go.

So more pics of the second Herder and growing Runts -

Cheers

Hello again,

I have made inroads into the Grot horde, as normal I'm leaving the bases to do in one go... pic!!

The picture looks a little small, but if you zoom in I'm sure you'll get the gist. Seems a lot of work for 15 points but there you go

whats that?... you want 9 more points? okay -

Boom.

haha, thanks.

those grotz are nice anl ight on the flesh tones, i had another look at the boyz with the bionics and thought that to improve the arm sections them selves as opposed to one piece of wire what about a slightly thicker one and a regular sized one, or even small fibre bundles.
keep up the good work

Thanks jonny5, I have acquired different sizes of metal rod, so I will attempt some of your advice after I work my way through Grots and Big gun.

Been chucking some paint about again, I've finished one of the Runtherds, well apart from the bases.

Pics -

And a few more of the herder, I've actually spotted some bits that need touching up.

One more herd to do, thenI'm making some big guns, the plan is to get all the Grot units done in one go.

Cheers!

Hey jonny5,

Why that's very kind of you, but I wouldn't dare raid another mans bitz box! , especially as I doubt I could repay the favour. I've been through your blog, liking the colour palette you use and the volume of output!

Cheers.

I like the runtherd's converted bionik runt grabbin' arm. And I'm a huge fan of converted boss poles. Does your waaagh! have its own icon? I used to spend a lot of time of the WAAAGH! forum and all the big name modelers on that site would make a custom glyph for their armies and then plaster it on everything from bosspoles to vehicles. It doesn't have to be complicated, but it's a great way to unify your horde. Just a thought.

Hey Warboss_Waaazag, thanks for the comments, I love boss poles, I'm planning every boss to have his own personalised one. To begin with I was attempting to give every boy a back banner, however this quickly became a bad idea.

Interesting idea about the army Icon, I'll have to do a bit research but its certainly something I'll consider and would tie the army together, especially when I actually get some armour in.

cheers.

Hello there again,

I've finished my first Runtherd, I managed to get the bases finished off last night, hope you enjoy, pics -

I've been playing about with the exposure so hopefully these are a little brighter and clearer.

I'm working through the second herd now.

Cheers.

Hey there, I have another attack Squig, but you'll have to help me, Squig face transplant? I'm not familiar with that procedure!

'S easy! Yer cuts there head off and sticks on a squig!

The front of the squig hound fits fairly well on an ork neck.

I see, not quite the infamous as billed then.

Well, I was planning on making a fat Orc Nob boss using a ogre body, I could try a Squig transplant I guess haha.

Hey there,

I'm currently making 5 mek guns. I really don't like the teeth on the front bumper so I've filed it down and added some bullet holes.

Not a massive update but there you go

cheers.

Hello again,

I've been playing about with some big gun bits, I really like the new mek guns, so I'm making Big guns in the same style so they don't look out of place.

I couldn't decide to make kannons, Zapp guns or Lobbers, so I cracked open the magnets pics -

london (all of it)

Everything you make looks like it could be part of a kill team size force and with the amount of detail on each model. Don't know how big your planning on making this but damm if this gets to a whole army stage, this is going to be one dam impressive force.
keep up the good work
