How many of the models were available in resin though?

I know the Pigmen were, and some Hadross...

Quite a few. I would say ~2/3 or more.

I have 6 or 7 i THINK.

Most of them are nice, blood child is by far my favorite. Pig people are kind of fun. The Hardross have the coolest ideas but fall short in execution and poses, especially the Deep Caller. He just stands there like "What ever Bro".

First model I've seen from this range that didn't blow my mind.

How long has this been getting teased now?

I'm wondering when they'll be rolling it out. Maybe once they've finished shipping the bulk of Arcadia Quest and whatever else they've got left to ship (barring Wrath of Kings, sadly)?

I'd guess its the next one to roll out.

They just got done shipping Dogs of War and are completing Arcadia now.

I'd say it's either this or The Others, though I'd lean towards this since we haven't seen any Others teasers in a bit.

Be interesting to see how this one is laid out. I get the impression that each faction is going to have a considerable amount of "stuff" that comes with it.

I'm seriously tempted by this one...

Guillotine games indicated The Others was scheduled for a 2015 KS so I agree that it's unlikely to be next

(unless CMON plans to take a break till next year ? they've run a bunch of projects this year and are still struggling with the back end a bit so maybe make use of the time to get some training/planning done?)

Hello laddies, Mr. Black here, and I've got a spoiler here for you!

Let's take a look at the card for the Wellsport Quartermaster, or Mistress in this case, MISS MAGS!

So looking at the card, let's review the information we have here:

1. The Faction Logo will appear in the left corner, showing what Faction the Hero in question belongs to. Next to that will also be their Role on the ship- in Mag's case, its Quartermaster!

Quartermasters support the rest of the Heroes and crew- they usually aren't the best fighters on your ship, but they work to make everyone else better!

2. This shows how much HP the Hero has. Take damage equal to your HP and you're KO'ed!

3. Each Hero has 3 Actions, which can be Attacks, Abilities, or Reactions. Here we see Mag's first action is an Attack, "Payday". The Coin on the far right shows how many Coins she would have to discard to use the ability- in this case, it's 0.

Now, since it's an attack, it also lists a number of dice to be rolled (in this case [4]), what those dice hit on (again in this case [4+], and its range (Only a [1] here!)

Lastly, we see Payday has the effect that, whatever its used, 1 Deployed Hero gains 1 Coin.

4. Miss Mag's second action is an Ability, Second Wind. She'll have to discard 3 Coins to use it, but when it takes effect 1 Hero gets to heal and remove any nasty Conditions they might have had!

5. Lastly, we see Miss Mag's third action is another Ability, Wellsport Fury. This one costs 3 Coin as well, but instead of healing a Hero they instead gain some bonuses to their attacks for the entire turn! Deadly!

Remember- each Hero is unique in Rum and Bones, and they all come with a variety of abilities to help you take over the enemy ship!

I am definitely interested in seeing the model for the Kraken, if there is one!

Little Tom is up today!

Unlike the cards we've seen so far, we see that for Tom's third ability he has a REACTION.

Unlike Attacks and Actions, Reactions happen... Well, whenever their trigger happens!

In Tom's case here he's going to punish any enemies that try to get away from him by crippling their movement.

Deadlier still, being a Brute, Tom has a wealth of HP and his Clever Frenzy only gets deadlier the more damage he has suffered!

@RITides - I'm pretty sure I was told there would be a Kraken model. In the demo games I've had, they always used the Orsund Cavalry model from Wrath of Kings, which is a sweet squid model unto itself!

December's fine with me.

I'm in the camp of getting my shopping done way in advance. Hell, we had the kid's stuff taken care of last spring.


Of course, the big issue for me is what kinds of crews will be on offer- it's going to take something a bit more unique and exciting than run of the mill pirates (or those of the undead variety) to tempt my family to play. They just aren't fans of pirates, regardless of how appealing the gameplay may be.

Based on the previous metal line, I think we can expect:

1. An "Islanders/Voodooy" faction
2. A "French-style" Faction
3. Maybe Gobliny Pirate Faction

ARGH!

NO MORE KICKSTARTERS THAT I WANT TO PLEDGE FOR IN 2014 - PLEASE!!!

But with Norsgard, possibly shieldwolf miniatures in early 2015 and another big KS coming in 2015... not sure if I will have enough gaming bucks.
