Odd thing to pick out specifically, but I like the tones on the underside of the boarding plank thing.
Unique looking army for the win.

Thanks. The tones are a result of a heavy wash. I'd like to say it was intentional but I just washed and go! The plank is magnitized as well so easy to represent wysiwyg.
I got another trurk the other day so another add to the mob!

Back from AC... Next to make some base Orkish buildings for Ice. Nothing too fancy just playable and functional Terrain like the peices I did for my FLGS. Inbetween more Inf. orks.

Been frustrating for me over the last week or so since I haven't had any time to paint. Would like to finish up some projects before I start on the skitarii but so far have made no progress.

Gits, You alway hava lot on your plate. I will start to get busy as it warms up and outside farm work begins. So I'm hoping the days getting longer help me get more done.
I'm pretty much done with SW for now. Need to touch up a dread then I'm waiting for Parts. I have some Dev Lamenters in the Que as well.

Better pics of the Inf. Completed so far. Ork Boss, Nob and Inf to date. More in various stages.
Warboss Front then back.
And a quick Camera phone shot of the first grot. I’ll get a better group shot when they are all completed.
I have about 40 more Inf to do, 20 Nobs as well.. all in various stages of painting. I’m trying to completed each step of the process before moving to the next. Very boring but it’s getting paint on them.... And as always soe things to fix on the warboss that only close up pics display ~sigh~

Thanks SJM. Your 4 orks have alot more work into them than any group of mine so I see why. I struggle with doing too much detail on basic troops. Still I do only one standard so it'll take as long as it takes. I'll probably jump into something else to break up the pain. Looking at some Defkopters.

Not sure... that's why they are not. Most likely I'll match the rust color with a debris/ ruin theme.. I'll wait till I have a bit more done before I jump in to the mass basing process.

Worked a couple hrs on the grots and the Runtherd. Much progress, but still very much a WIP. Nothing tonight.. YB and I will be fighting it out. SW vs. Lamenters Marines. He won the first 2 games and I the last 2. So our final 1850 series is decided tonight.
I'm trying to get them done on friday as I want to do some more terrain stuff for Ice this weekend.

Another victory for the Lamenters.. Honestly I think the vengence batteries is what saved me from the 'Wolf rush'. So I'm not considering this anything than a moral victory. 1-1 he would have destroyed me.
Looking to get the first unit of Grots done this weekend. Some terrain and putz around on the twin Naughts. ( if it doesn't snow again!)

Thanks.. It's been a fun project.
Finished the grots. However I positioned the only Grot with a upright gun in front of my Runtheard so it blocks his face. Didn’t notice till I loaded the pic. I have another 10 grots to go plus some for the artillery to finish.
SO I just started putzing with the Morkanaught, Next thing I know it’s dark and I’m almost done. A few more details, Glyphs, Engine and Ork lookout to finish.

to this...
Back to another 10 Inf. Nobs I think.

Love that 'naut! It reminds me of the skeleton halloween costumes that you wear in the dark and the bone bits sort of hover. Great aged metal look and perfect contrast.
