Space Marine Sergeants no longer come equipped with Boltguns or Boltpistols. These must instead be purchased for 0.5 points a piece. Yes, this is for the sole purpose of necessitating more book keeping since that is what hobbyists love, amirite?

Thought for the day: Hope is the first step on the road to disappointment.
30k Ultramarines: 2000 pts
Bolt Action Germans: ~1200 pts
AOS Stormcast: Just starting.
The Empire : ~60-70 models.
1500 pts

Anytime a Space Marine has LOS on the enemy's models he can shoot 20 no scatter 80" inch Apocalyptic blast that is Str 10 AP 1.

Automatically Appended Next Post:
Anytime Eldar shoot at a space marine the space gets to automatically charge anywhere across the table with two chain axes that are 90 attacks auto hitting, auto wounding, instadeath.

The Blood Ravens, the unchallenged masters of "acquiring" wargear from disparate sources (and all logged in Chapter records as "found on the battlefield" or "fell off the back of a Rhino") manage to stea- er, I mean, recover a bunch of Eldar Jetbi- ahem, that is, an ancient STC of completely, totally, 100% honest human-made Jetbikes... with badass cannons.

It is best to be a pessimist. You are usually right and, when you're wrong, you're pleasantly surprised.

Gear adrift is a Marine Gift. (Unknown Marine NCO)

Im not saying marines run around Afghanistan with stolen Army equipment...im just saying that by the end of my deployment a lot of our gear had brand new USMC logo's etched on them :-p

I come in peace. I didn't bring artillery. But I'm pleading with you, with tears in my eyes: If you mess with me, I'll kill you all

Veterans of the Previous Era: If your Combined Arms Detachment is within 3d6 feet of any 6th Edition Codex you bought 3d6 months ago, you may choose to play Assassins Creed instead. If a hit is rolled the shot scatters the full 2d6 anyways.

Space Marine centurions will now be able to throw 3 ST D templates (each unit).

Drop Pods cause a ST D attack if they deviate onto another unit. If the Unit is not killed by the Drop Pods D Landing than it scoots off the unit and lands like it normally would.

Space Marine Captains hit everything with a ST D attack by looking in a general direction. Everything in that general direction friend or foe gets hit.

D ATTACKS FOR EVERYONE

Regiment: 91st Schrott Experimental Regiment
Regiment Planet: Schrott
Specialization: Salvaged, Heavily Modified, and/or Experimental Mechanized Units.

Now, hold on. If he's wearing full armor - which includes a helmet - then how can you tell that he is screaming? Will there be a speech bubble?

Plasma guns are now viable, and you may have to actually consider them over grav weapons.

Ermmmmm.... Master of Plasma special rule: Any model that suffers an unsaved wound when firing a Gets Hot plasma weapon may re-roll their failed armor save once.

Now wouldn't that be nice for Dark Angels....

Due to the popularity of centurions, the new codex will include more 'power armour on your power armour' type units.

Spoiler:

The titan-centurion will cost 200 points, comes with a special rule that lets it fire every weapon at different targets, and takes up a troops slot.

Hysterical thread. I genuinely loled at several of these.

To answer the complaints from players that their models didn't accurately represent the fluff, Space Marines now have 2+++ plot armor, rerolling ones, reanimation style.
