The Thrud Miniature on display at the Dalling Road GW Store was painted by me.
I had done a complete set of them, but someone managed to "collect" them out of the case.
I did see the Thrud was still there in 1989 the last time I went to England... But I don't know what became of it after that.
I loved Thrud. He was a brilliant cartoon, mocking The Schwarzenegger Conan beautifully.

The Original Citadel Slann.
Among my Lost minis were about 250 of these, roughly 1/2 were painted in the Aztec/Mayan patterns that distinguished them.
Someone is very lucky to have wound up with those, and I would LOVE to get another army of them for a Hyborian Mass Combat game. They are the archetypical Sword & Sorcery/Lovecraftian Nemesis for Hyborian opponents of the army of the day Conan would be leading or among.

Nothing old for 40k/ WHFB that got replaced by newer models. I don't suffer from nostalgia. Newer is better.
Exception that proves the rule: Obliterators.

Oh how I adore thee, oh how I hate those that replaced you...I will forever kick myself for not starting empire when those lovely, lovely miniatures made up the bulk of its armies...

Out of about seven floors they provided us with, none of them fitted together straight. In the end they admitted to not having any more to send to us. At worst it just rocked precariously back and forth, and at best it had a half inch gap at one end.
As it was just three massive shoebox sized pieces of resin, the only way to even attempt to straighten it was to plunge it into a washing up bowl of boiled water. Even then it wasn't enough to permeate the inch thick walls in places.
Much as I'd like to see it return, the entire thing badly needs planning again from the ground up.
On the plus side, if I very much wanted to, I could make a skyscraper (that would blow down if someone farted in an adjoining room).
Are you saying that they sent you six replacement first floors?
I'm interested in buying it from you if you still have it, or any of the replacement floors.
PM me if you are interested in selling.

Three original pieces... Ended up with two rooves, three middle sections and one ground, after back and forth.
It was a (long drawn out) present for my partner, so it's not for sale.

Great thread!
ALL of Necromunda, for my money it's the best line GW ever did.
The Enforcers/Adeptus Arbites would be great to have back too.
Rogue Trader adevnturers, pirates and personalities
Honestly if I ran GW I'd bring back a different line every month, make it a one off, charge a premium and get some excitement generated. But that would require GW caring about its history and also that GW want to make money.

I bought the goff rockers a few years ago as I was concerned they'd go oop. Still here! The plan is eventually to use them as musicians for my orcs and goblins army (I guess it is kinda ironic that after a fashion it was my ong army that went oop, not the goff rockers!)

This in spades - set up a new division to run it - offer up 6 choices on the webisite, 6 months in advance - collect votes for 3 months, then offer the winning set for pre-order for 1 month only, require the purchase of the full range or at least very large chunks of it in defined sets, no single figures, collect payment in advance, produce figures over 2 months, ship out. Change the options every month so you are producing 12 'sets' per year, all paid for in advance, all existing sculpts, just production costs to pay which is minimal.

So many!
Particular favourites would be
This Chaplain:
Modheim Von Carsteins
This Necrarch
These Blood Dragons
Metal wraiths that came before the current (admittedly very good) plastic one:
As well as the Diaz Daemonettes the Bloodletters and Horrors contemporary to them were fantastic. The horrors in particular nailed how twisted they were supposed to be.
Kasrkin were superior to the current Storm Troopers and, while plastic options are nice, metal Space Marine veterans were great whether they were the generic ones that used to be sold as sergeants before being boxed together or the specific Sternguard and Vanguard squads. Much more character and overall great sculpts.

Zombicide season 1 Dave the geek! Because having an incomplete big bang team is just sad :(, I'd even settle for a recast.
The original land raider.
I'd also like to see reasonably priced reprints of some of the old 1-2 piece plastics that GW did during the 90s for gaming. The 2nd edition monopose marines, plastic Orlocks and Goliaths, Chaos Dwarfs, etc...
The plastic squat (space dwarf) kit aught to be reprinted. I have no idea why they are just sitting on that. Aside from the slightly dated looking heavy bolter, I think the models were clean enough and modular enough to fit with today's plastic IG.
It would also be nice to be able to get mint copies of old games like original space hulk, tyranid attack, dark world etc...

That was it.
I have two miniatures of chicks (who ARE "Goth") holding these big knives (two each), and a miniature of a guy in a long coat (another Goth) that are Inquisior miniatures.
Only... I bought them apparently when the game had been long gone. I just bought them because they were cool.
I mean... WTF?!?!?
That game should have become their new 40K centerpiece.

I really like the old school Tyranids Hive Tyrant. The one with the huge gun and the goofy grin, he looked so cool. I'd buy one just to have it!
