I guess the factions in Warroom have to be rebought and there will be faction cards for each faction we can buy too.

Yup, but if you bought your deck after November (Iirc) you upgrade automatically, and if you have previously bought a deck, you can buy the mk3 deck at a discount.

The date for the free updated decks was that they were purchased on or after Jan 1 2016.

Can anyone confirm which Cryx 'Jacks are in the new Battlegroup? I was looking at it earlier tonight, and it's an auto buy for me already (fairly new player still but regardless it's good value), just wanting to know what the non-Slayer Helljack is? Looks to me like either a Reaper or Inflictor, but not sure

Generally the battleboxes are really good buys, they are quite cheap, they are the only way to get the new caster for the time being, and you get a rulebook too.

Yeah, But I think the rulebook will be free online still. So if you already have Cryx pretty much all you are getting is the caster. Of which should be available as a single model at some point.

It's confirmed to be free online, but personally I would prefer to have a physical copy as well, especially in the smaller format

That's disappointing. I really don't see myself needing a second firefly anytime soon. I'm still trying to figure out what to do with the first one.

Fortunately I have enough spare parts to make the heavy be whatever I want.

i'm sure we'll find people breaking up the boxes on ebay fairly quickly, which is good since i also don't need another firefly
