I only picked up the scatter terrain, but can't wait for the rest of it to hit the store so I can pick up what need as I can afford it.

The Interior Detail stuff...so awesome...

Update #10

Nov 21 2014

Interior Panels - the basics.

Infinity is a detailed 'verse and there's nothing better than playing Infinity on a detailed table.. one where you can get down at eye-level with the figures and go.. "In through the door, cover behind the table.. chain rifle template down the center.. job done..."

Our Interior Panel system was designed to be modular - so Habitats share many wall slots where you can insert high-detail resin panels:

You can remove these panels after assembly, to allow you to paint them or to swap them around for alternative panels that fit the same size area....

These two panels are both "Large", Accommodation on the left (with bunk-bed and MDF backing) and a "Personal Station" on the right....

Each panel is supported by MDF inserts, some panels have extra MDF (such as the bunk-bed) to finish their effect off and look neat & tidy...

..and the system allows you to swap same-size panels around as much as you like:

..by altering the combination of panels in a Habitat you can change its function - 4 Large accommodation panels and it becomes a living unit, A Science Station and Personal Station and you can turn it into a working laboratory or command center.

By making new panels we can add different functions and allow you to use the same building for entirely different purposes.

We will be putting up a list of all the different panels, along with images and individual prices, over the next few days.

So, after seeing that latest vid showing the new renders of the Super Hawk, I was curious if it had become modular, like the Samsara with different cockpit and engine pieces. When I asked about that in the comments, I got this response:

Creator Antenocitis Workshop Ltd about 13 hours ago
Barzam: Other than some modularity of weapons packages, at the moment, no it isnt modular. THere may be a deluxe version with detailed interior and separate ramps and doors though - but that is very much a WIP at the moment.

So, I guess the new cockpit and engines are here to stay, but the fact that they're planning a version with a fully detailed interior is certainly newsworthy!

Indeed it is, would look good with a few "backdrop" Superhawks.

Good News - SuperHawk unlocked - bad news £68 don't think I can justify that price for a piece of terrain :(

Next Stretch goal - Alien Trees at £70,000

Work-In-Progress:

We build these models up the traditional way, no 3d designs" so they take quite a lot of time to get just-right and, normally, some of the core shapes of the trees below would be impossible to cast as they are now, let alone once we have added in the extra fungus and vines.

All of this set would come bases (as the front 3 are being done) and all with elements of the 4 fungal growths, bushes and vines, that we have done on the fallen trees set... there's a lot to do still on them but from small acorns...

To be fair, the dropship is 8 inches long. That's pretty big. But yeah, $106 plus whatever the shipping will be is pretty damn expensive. When this hits their retail site, I have to wonder how much it'll be and what the shipping will be like then.

It's a solid chunk of resin alright. The KS seems to be about 10% discount so I'd say £75 retail which qualifies for free shipping.

EDIT retail price will be £90 so 25% discount.

I don't think £68 is that expensive for a large resin vehicle. Not sure my hobby budget can stretch to this, scatter and the other things I have planned to purchased over the next few months.

Painted Super-Hawk...

Now, if you are one of those who have decided to go for a Super-Hawk then you will be entered into a draw for one person to receive their Hawk pre-painted by David Woods aka Dwartist, who is a very well known and rather excellent painter of miniatures and military vehicles.

That will be a fully detailed and weathered example, painted in your chosen scheme, to a very high professional level..and at no cost extra... and a HUGE thanks to David for this fabulous offer.

Nice! I am expecting some mdf sci-fi corridors to arrive in a month or so and a lot of those pieces will be perfect for detailing the walls. I don't think a 5-pack of scatter terrain is going to cut it anymore.

Ah I don't think a 15 pack will either. I've asked if they will do a 20 pack mostly for convenience other wise I'll get 15 and add a few extras

I can't decide weathered or pristine. I like how clean and nice the pristine looks. I want weathered building but not sure I am particularly sold on the way the laser did the weathering. So I'm not sure if I want pristine, then put some paint parts to chip them off for weathering instead.... decisions.. decisions.

And now colors... although that is a bit easier. I'm leaning towards blue, green or gold in that order.

What is everyone else going to end up doing, has anyone decided?

I wanted to like orange more than I actually do, so I'm probably going with blue.

I'm definitely getting some - and that was before you noted how could they'll be for Pulp City too!

Thanks!

I've got it narrowed down to green or gold, so far.

I haven't seen them making a big deal about the costs to add the interior molding, apart from the + pledge levels, but there is that list of prices hidden amongst all the other stuff.

Is it just a case of upping my pledge by the appropriate amount on that list and then dealing with it when the surveys go out?

Definitely going with the Pristine, it gives us the most options for weathering (or not) in the future).
I may just not weather at all, then I can just drop them on a snow or grass board and still have it look decent with the right scatter terrain.

I think I'll go orange, it has the clean corporate sci-fi look down but still has some nice pop on the table.

I'm thinking weathered in Blue, Gold, Orange, Green, Grey, and Red.

They'll do multiple colors right?

Only for the Plus pledges. For the rest of us it is one colour only, though they said they will consider allowing Red for the medibay.

You can now pick different colours for each habitat for a one off £10 charge (plus pledges already have this option at no charge)

As standard you get to chose the primary colour of your Habitats in your pledge, but that is a single colour for all your Habitats. To give everybody the choice of colours for each Habitat means a significant overhead in terms of management of pledges, production cycles and even packaging... but it is a popular and recurring request.

So to enable this we've made a £10.00 add-on which then gives you the option to chose a primary colour for each Habitat in your pledge, those colours being one of the 7 shown in previous updates. This is a one-off flat fee for your pledge, it is not a per-building cost.

Hmmm, there's quite a few of the power strain+ available, but the cost to buy 6, 8 & 9 (which in my mind are the best ones) and kit them out in resin is quite a bit. Gonna have to work out if it's worth it for the boxes and vehicles.

Do buildings bought as add-ons to the + levels get the same extra special stuff as the ones that are from the bundles (logos, different colours)?
