Registration opens tomorrow. As before, we will be providing free food, drinks, streaming the top table live, and the prize support doubled this year. As only one Ambassador will represent each of the Factions, early registration is advised.

Bracket one is completed.

2nd Bracket reservations ARE now open for the Elvensword Ambassadorial Tournament. The window to register is very small, to give us time to prepare properly and get all the supplies we will need. We are charging $5 to reserve your place as the esteemed Ambassador of your chosen codex. If the second bracket does NOT fill up, we will refund that $5. if it does, you will, again, have a limited time to get the rest of your money to us. But it is only $5 to reserve the Codex you wish to represent.

register.

I don't play 40k competitively but I really like this idea for a tournament. Looks like it would be a lot of fun.

Are you going to have pics up soon? I would love to see them

Yup. they're coming. the guy who does the website for me had to go to a conference right afterwards so he's just getting back and we'll be shoving them on there ASAP. Give it a day maybe two.

What did you like about it?

I like how each player never plays the same army twice. Having been playing this game since 97 I am so tired and burnt out facing Space Marines as 80% of my opponents. I like variety in the races that I play but since Space Marines are so popular I seem to play them all the time. I played in a participation league recently and after finishing the league 7 games played I had only played marines. It gets to be frigging boring! Your format prevents that.

I love the hobby side of the game and I have noticed more and more tournaments are dropping the painted requirement. I love facing off against fully painted and based armies. I only play with fully painted and based armies myself and there is something awesome about to fully painted armies clashing on the battlefield.

I also like the list building limits and how you preserve the integrity of each army in how armies can only use dataslates, supplements ect. from their own race. No DE and CE running around brofisting each other. In the same vein the Imperium armies are forced to keep everything separate so no thunder wolves Cavalry charges backed by wyvern batteries. When you say you only get to play one race you mean it.

Just my opinion but if I was to ever attend a tournament this is the one I would go to.

Sweet. Well hopefully some day you can and thanks for the input.

I am thinking about running this tournament in Australia. I know it seems weird but I am on another forum where theresa lot of people across the pond from me and many of them could go if i did one. The Website will support it anywhere I go. So hey!

My friend who is the author of the Fox Elvensword trilogy and the named sponsor for the Tournament is wanting to perhaps hold one over in the Elizabethtown ((Kentucky) area. A place called Hard Knox Games. Not sure how far that will go but I can see the tournament format being used lots of places.
