Would I be looking at Cryx for this?

You can do it in almost any faction, save... maybe like Legion or Circle. Cryx and Khador both excel at it though, Cryx especially so.

If you're looking to have lists that amount to "a ton of dudes" and be able to get a lot of variety while staying competitive in that space, you can't go wrong with Cryx. Well you can but you'd have to try it at it.

Hmmm maybe I'll try swarming w/ Khador a try. I already am thinking of getting back with them. If it doesn't work out with them I'll try Cryx. Thanks!

If you're going khador check out the last episode of the podcast Muse on Miami. They give a fairly interesting Butcher1 list that runs a bunch of pirates which has the possibility of being a hard counter to the Grissel "miserable meat mountain" list. Against living models it brings a bunch of 4+ tough models who on the charge hit with two attacks the first at POW13 and five dice with the second attack at POW15 with four dice; immunity to blast damage, and an inbuilt recurrsion mechanic.

Presumably Jeratoll's autocorrect is overzealous, as I'm reasonably sure that should be Muse on Minis.

Nope, it's Muse on Miami. They're on the Muse on Minis network. Earlier this year around January or February the main Muse crew took a week off and some other Des Moines Players got together and did a guest episode, which was brilliant, and that group decided to do their own podcast. There is some cross over of members since they're all in the same meta, but Miami is a bit more light hearted than muse on minis.

I don't want to imply the Miami guys aren't competitive, but it's kind of like Muse on Minis is the podcast for competato e players, whilst Miami is more of a casual podcast.

Even Legion can go infantry heavy. I have seen my wife play to great effect with Rheas (sp?), and lots of Nyss Swordsman, Striders, etc...

I've decided to do a Winterguard swarm at 50pts with Sorscha2 or eSorscha... i'm still fiddling around with it.

Well, I mean certainly every faction has infantry models and can plunk them down and have a good matchup or two. All other things being equal the number of situations where a Legion player is going to find space to gain an advantage by playing dudespam and/or Rhyas is rather narrow. Now if your meta happens to be one where that narrow space is in focus, or comes up commonly it'll seem like the bees knees I'm sure. However, in the context of the game as a whole I don't think there are very many times in which that is the case.

Rhyas dudespam recursion with Spawning Vessel(s) and multiple units of Incubi is surprisingly effective in a great number of match ups, especially if you consider that your opponent will plan for a large number of beasts and select his list accordingly, just to be confronted with an almost Cryxian-like mob!

Just a tip from an old Khador player. If you're relatively new to swarm lists... consider using EIrusk. His ability to essentially grant Tactician army-wide will help you avoid positioning errors until you're comfortable getting the most out of positioning for CMAs, etc... Also, hiding something killy like Kayazy behind Man 'o Wars and just moving through them to alpha strike can be really fun. ;-)
