So like the title says, what accessories and gaming gear do you have? Beyond models or cards what do you have at home or that you take to the store/club?

Mine (its not much honest!)

From the top left its:
Dragon design deck holder - wooden card box - Warhammer dice tin (with dice)
Dragon Deck Vault (Legion (Hordes) cards inside) - Tape measure - Dice cube
The small thing in the bottom left is a calculator, nothing special but with a little protective cover that has kept it working for years whilst being bashed around in bags.
Dragon cover card book (holds all the shiny!) - the Little Black Book which contains Ze List (yes really - lists of MTG cards).

I left out a handful of counters and templates for various things, but otherwise that's mostly what I've got.

Inside the box there is

Lots of cards for various games, the MTG cards long exceeded the box and are in a draw (and to be fair I've not used them in a few years - broke them out for this)

So that's what little I've got, what have you got?

*and yes I did feel bad writing that title like that*

Nothing amazing unfortunately (though i eventually wana make a very nice table which could be considers an accessory.

Picture? I’d like to see that, sounds cool.

Nothing too special here.
Dice brick (with one layer of dice removed, replaced with two scatter dice and 3 white dice)
Oversized die for turn counter
Poster tack for temporary field repairs.
Templates and tape measure (usually two of those)
Homemade chapter tactics and warlord trait cards. I get a lot of compliments on these (and can only take credit for the CT ones)
Assorted rulebooks, codexes, and army lists.

This all gets shoved into a Kaiser 3 bag with whatever army I’m bringing that day.

Probably work

The top sheet of foam in my 720 is just for "things". I have spots for a pen, blast markers of the three regular sizes, a notebook for recording victory points or anything else I might want to mark down, deployment zone marker thingies and a tape measure.

Beyond that, I have dakka dice and another tape measure.

I really need to go do this. is there any way to have it printed directly onto cards? or any ideas to have a card company make it?

I print on photo paper, and that’s fine. You aren’t shuffling them, so no real need for rigidity that you need for cards. And the photo paper is pretty firm. In years past I’ve printed stuff straight onto index cards, which gives you that cardstock feel you want. But I’m not sure if you can get high-gloss, photo quality cardstock.

Options would be a spray adhesive, and attach your own, or just slip a chaff common into the sleeve with the 40k printout.

Magic Set Editor is a free program to make these kinds of cards by the way. Highly recommended.

Probably work

For Pathfinder, I made spell cards for all my low level spells so that I could just hand them off to the DM so he'd know what I was casting, and no one else knew unless they could spellcraft it (and they can't cause they're silly mundanes). I took playing cards and just formatted the text small enough that I could cut out each card face and use PVA to attach them to the faces of playing cards.

It's time consuming, and doesn't look professional, but it would be a quick way to get something like that going. The PVA causes some warping in the cards, but if you can keep the layer thin enough and then bend them back into shape, it doesn't look too bad.

I used Magic Set Editor for it and a rather tedious iron on laminate plastic. It's not as even as a proper laminating machine but it was kind of an experiment and I didn't want to get a machine I may never use again.

I've found that MTG type card sleeves are much easier and less of a hassle than laminating. And I printed on normal paper so in case you didn't have photo paper, it works too. I'll probably do a set for my Necrons. The most fun part is actually looking for the art to put there.

Downloaded the Magic Set Editor. Totally clean, no dangers that my software could detect; nothing hinky following in its wake.

What it DID bring with it was sheer awesomeness. I'm using that. Not only that, I think I might make cards for all my rules and unit profiles, that way I might be able to save some time looking crap up in the books.

Well it's all in my small laptop bag, a box for the paints and another for whatever I am painting. I have a neat bag specifically for cards.
And then I usually bring a doll, she (or he) is a conversation starter and keeps undesirables away from my things.

Hey milkboy, any chance of getting a copy of your card files to look at? I'm also thinking of making some reference cards for Warlord Traits and maybe the vehicle damage table, reinforcements roll etc as I often have trouble remembering these

I have a GW "markerlight" laser pointer.
I have some GW bullethole CoD dice.
I have a couple of velcro Infinity faction patches for my miniatures case and some pins.

I don't usually do "accessories" specific to a game. I won those as tourney prizes.

I got some infinity pins on my purse?

I actually fully admit that I have used the bag that came with the 6th ed limited Edition as a day to day purse. Lol It matches some of my shoes.

While this thread was "raised from the dead", as it were, I think it's relevant/worth having open so I'm going to leave it here.

Would love to see some more gamer swag setups
