Pat Lewis, North American community manager for Mantic Games, joins us in the third chair!

We take this opportunity to dive deep into the Deadzone campaign system. How does it work? What do we like about it? How does it address classic campign issues from games of old?

But first we catch up a bit with Pat, how did he get into this cool job and what is the hotness from Mantic?

All that and our other not-too-horrible segments including:

- Total Fan Girl
- Do You Ever Notice
- The Hollywood Minute
- News
- & More

Really loved the episode. More and more I think I have to give Deadzone a try. Maybe I can get my buddy to spring for the core set and sell me his Enforcers...

As you went through the campaign system I kept mentally comparing the game to Necromunda and Mordheim. While I love those games (and am fairly good at them) there comes a point at which you become more or less unbeatable or unable to compete and the campaign inevitably unravels. It sounds like this really isn't a problem in Deadzone (at leas as much) and that draws me toward the game even more.

As always, great work!

"I have concluded through careful empirical analysis and much thought that somebody is looking out for me, keeping track of what I think about things, forgiving me when I do less than I ought, giving me strength to shoot for more than I think I am capable of. I believe they know everything that I do and think, and they still love me. And I’ve concluded, after careful consideration, that this person keeping score is me." -Adam Savage

Hands up who felt discombobulated by the early appearance of the Geek Nation Tours ad.

Great show BTW.

Why couldn't Matt Wilson get a drink from the vending machine?
Because he had No Quarters.
