Hello,
I've recently bought the open fire boxed set and have a couple of questions about platoons that have lost their command team. This has happened a few times in playing the game and I can't find a clear answer in the rule book.

1. The special rule for the Germans is straight forward. It seems that another team just takes over as the new command team if they have lost their command team and they carry on as usual. Does the new command team also gain the weapons that the original command team had? ie SMG. And panzerfaust

2. What are the implications for the British tank platoons and US paratroopers with no command team. Are they just dead in the water and are not allowed to move? It seems that the British have the 'carry on sergeant' special rule that allows them to assault. But other than that they have to sit tight.

Thanks for your help.

What British tank platoons don't have a command team?

1. The new command team is identical to the old one (so it will keep any upgrades)

2. Yes although your CO can appoint a new command team.

Every platoon starts with a command team though...

Do not underestimate the Squats. They survived for millenia cut off from the Imperium and assailed on all sides. Their determination and resilience is an example to us all.

Its just a shame that they couldn't fight off Andy Chambers.
