I like the great coat types you have there. Though their coats seem slightly flat to me.

Well, I do have a brown wash that may set them off, or do something to the effect of sand and wind blasted along with sun scorched leather dusters. Pretty brutal worlds to deal with.

The brown wash made it seem like oiled over leather, and I am going to try to dry brush that lighter dry color to make it look like it has been in some rough times with the NCR Ranger./Special missions guys.

That is supurb Shas. Those coats ended up filling a really good effect. But how about some basing? I can send you some 100% legit dessert dirt in the mail if you like. As I live in one...

Glad you like! Oh but to make sure there are no living organisms, I would be tempted to put the dirt in my oven and bake at 400 for 30mins! Before gluing to the bases of course!

Please don't take this the wrong way, but I think your painting has improved dramatically. That last batch, and especially the coats are AMAZING! They look really fantastic.

No worries! I am always seeking to improve my painting style past the envelope, but not the way GW has made it with their sometimes odd highlighting overkill. So Thank you Cam!

the fallout models look amazing!...these coats together with the camoed pants...

also thanks for the scale shot of all producers... this also shows how good your painting is... GW stuff has way bigger surfaces than all the others...

Glad they did their work well, still much to do on the fallout figures

Scale shot helps show the difference between other makers minis and GW which also reveals the comical "heroic" scale they use to justify simply bulky minis that are as the SM captain and IG being the same height, not the Marine towered above all, that their scales are purely simplistic representational, but hey, they call themselves the "porsche of minis" well, Defiance then was the Ford, and Dreamforge is the Mercedes, while Brother Vinni shows as the Koenigsegger, My Way and others are also showing superior work to GW's OTT scales and mass.

Well, I once rode inside a Porsche...it is not all what's it cracked up to be...every bump in the road you feel......I like your reflection about scales...but I doubt gw will ever do something about this in our lifetime...that would cost them and us fortunes and a half...I would even settle for appropriate scaled vehicles...but then...I can do these on my own...bwahahaha...

Well, based on their finecrapst minis alone I say they fall short of their "porsche" of miniatures and more like a rusty Opel

More pics, used a lighter green to show age of the materials they use for straps/pouches/sacks, etc.

The initial box, so cards/dice/minis/buildings etc.

Yep, diverse population mix in Amexadian culture for that Republic of the Khadrovian Union.

Doing the eyes simply, I used to be good enough to do colored eyes with the black dot in center.

So, I made a size comparison Top infectors from Sedition Wars set, Grendlr and Cthonian on either side of Deadzone Infector 1st Gen plague. For sheer height he has both licked. for mass I think he may be tied or beat by Grendlr

Decisions, decisions! How to deal with the 3 big guys first for this poor Heavy stubber trooper??? sheer drop behind him, and the 3 biggest, meanest surround him.

Ahh, I see (that is, the difference between the two game sets).

And these are all being included into your army, yes?
Hope you find a good way to keep any visiting inquisitors happy...

that first stager is actually my favourite model... mean and big and it gives plenty of painting opportunities in my opinion...so many recesses that washes are a blessing...

and.... iirc you already have some enforcers in your collection, right?

this package at least seems to be filled and no sham package...

Oh, it will keep them happy, the 2 sets when not used in their respective games will be used for the army of the Gift, or as the humans will call it "The Infection"

The human factions from both already have slots in my human armies. The Vanguard are the Valoran Elites, the Enforcers are the "Full Ice Sanction" troopers

Already enjoying the paint work I am doing, and I can even allow overlaps as blurring/blending transformation of tissues to other materials as you will see, and I am going to over wash the 1st gen skull flesh to resemble a cross between the Hulk and the "Iron Skull" from the Avengers Assemble, LOL! Black Ink wash will help tie the 2 forces together as the armor becomes infused with metal.

Scale shot: SM Centurion/turducken, last shopt with supermutant

Scale shot just supermutants
[/img]

1st gen all alone, he will get the green eyes of the "gift"

Added a dry brush of fleshy mix for the skin

Basically the plague minis screamed out inspired "Do us" to me.

Okay, got the Plague force done for now. Of course there are reinforcements to get. seems I have a pretty good handle on icky and creepy plague spreading monsters.

Boss all done. As stated, his inspiration was from "Avengers Assemble" on Netflix and I have a comparative as to show the family resemblance. Of course the 1st gen looks like Iron Skull and Hulk fused
