Didn't know where to post this...

Anyone have nay luck labeling battle foam, I don't think adhesive labels will work on it and wondered if anyone had luck with something else?

Have them on a shelf and can't tell them apart without pulling them out

Why not write the labels on paper and fold in between the trays so the paper hangs down the side?

White paint marker might work.

Silver colored sharpie will write on foam permanently and is probably your best choice.

Otherwise, you will have to print on paper (or card) and then glue them to the side of the foam.
-Hot glue works well, but is rather thick.
-Contact cement or Rubber cement are nice options but a bit smelly at first.
-Spray adhesive holds for a while, but is usually non-permanent.

I would advise against masking tape or printed label sheets as they will not hold up to packing and repacking.

Huh, that's a neat idea to label them. I can't think of any way else than every one else's suggestions tho

Would fabric puffy paint work? I am thinking something along the lines of this might do the trick.

I use a spray template and spray paint.

I made up the templates. Using a lettering guide, cereal box card and an x-acto. White spray paint.

I have no issue with the trays, the case they get carried in is NOT a BF case, though (I had issues with it and won't use them).

We used to distribute Bfoam in Europe. The product is excellent. However one of the decisions for us to stop doing so is that the overhead for managing the stock is excessive. That's with regards to identifying trays, labelling products etc. No Labels we found would stick tot he foam which makes holding such a large range very difficult.

If they could alter the recipe so that things stick to it then we would jump back in.

Spray sounds the best idea.
Masking tape might have to wind all the way around the tray, to get it to stick at all. Or, wrap it over the end, and then around so you can see it.
Or, thick card and staples, maybe. Careful with the models in those slots.

This is why KR offers coloured foam.

Write on it with tipex/whiteout.

I use FiC trays instead, which can come with white plastic archive boxes, so I write on the box rather than the tray. I'll need to write on the trays too but haven't got that far, I'll likely use the spray technique though as it'll look better.
