Hi All

Today marks the start of our Great War week at Breakthrough Assault and we start off with a look at the new British Army deal.

Winner Dave's unboxing looks at all the models in detail.

Hope you all enjoy it.

Peter Pig, Old Glory and Irregular miniatures have been making 15mm WW1 with much more detail and character than these for years. BattleĀ£ront's sad efforts are dull kiddie toys in comparison. The [definite] WW1 miniatures game? More like " decent but not great WW1 wargames rules and miniatures".

They're part of the Blue Moon range http://www.oldgloryuk.com/disp_items.php?c=490 Their infantry's ok, their tanks are a little on the expensive side. I'm also a fan of the Peter Pig stuff, especially the characterful stuff like this:

It's a shame Pig doesn't attend any shows in The North or have any trade accounts in the UK.

Did you mean definitive? If so where are you pulling that phrase from? Who exactly are you arguing with? As usual you have no idea what you're taking about.

I think some people are being rather harsh on BF's stuff, they are not my favorite 15mm miniatures but they are still very good and far superior to Old Glory/Skytrex's efforts which are dated and lack detail.

Please do not feed the Troll...

overall they look good, what i would expect from BF.iam passing on this game, but i will be buying some of the Terrain when released.
As for the pp models,i think the uniform and pose are great, but the Pilsbury doughboy face needs some work.Old glory models are not that good of sculpts and in the end you pay more for them.usually 3 bags plus base and other extras.
