HEAVY SUPPORT

Hammerhead -- SMS, Longstrike, Submunitions, Disrup. Pod (190 pts).

TACTICS: Basically, everything starts on the board except for Commander with the fusion blaster squad and the kroot. Other squad of XV8s can take out most TEQ and MEQ. the Riptide sits back and blows up any mid-armour tanks and infantry. The FWs in the fish are going around capturing objectives, while the other two are sitting in a building or on an objective. Hammerhead will deal with any and all AV 13/14.

The Twilight Zone

Could probably save points on the commander by downgrading the shield gen to stims. Cost a bit less and give you a second save. While you lose out on the invul, you can usually get cover and against S10 AP2/1 you only had a 50/50 for the shield to eat it anyways. Might as well just look out sir! The wound away.

Drop the shielded drone from the riptide, the Ld check is too risky to take. Swap the VT on the tide for an EWO, iontides are better at intercepting deep strikers than fliers.

Rest looks good, could always use broadsides or more crisis.

The most important rule of 40K-Page XVII of the 6th edition rulebook, the figure at the top right of the page. "Shake hands with your opponent and thank them for a good battle and fun experience." Then go out for a beer.

I removed/added all of that, and was left with 46 pts. I added 6 more kroot, is there any other way i should spend the points?

I plan on getting two broadsides at 2k points.

Thanks!

You could get another crisis suit with 2 burst cannons to go with the FB+PR team, but it won't really mesh. Kroot are never bad, maybe max out the warriors in the fish?

They have always been an enticing model to take, I will definitely experiment with one! They seem very strong. Any other advice?
