For starters, it's Dark Angels, not Blood Angels.

I'd say more, but I make it a habit not to reply to people that use "becuz" and "U". However, you're from the Netherlands, so your English is better than my Netherlandish. You'll get a pass. THIS TIME!

Pretend you're a leprechaun pretending to speak German. Now you're speaking Dutch. Congrats!

It seems like a goid idea, it works better if you trade the one half you dont want for the half you do or split it with someone.

It was a good run.

Sure, you could do that. You could go a step further and covert the dark angels into chaos or vice versa.

no need to be an ass. Unless you were just messing with him, in that case emoticons help

To OP: should work. You can use the DA as The Fallen and create a fluffy army, though 1.5k would be pushing it.

It sure can, mod the figs a little, and DA's become "Fallen", and recent additions to the Chaos Warband.

Mod or trade, IMO. Either is vastly preferable to taking that kind of dump on the fluff. Even just a different paint scheme would work, but a few small changes (damage symbols and such) would go a long way.

You might have an army, it just won't be a) very competitive or b) at all fluffy or c) 1500 points...

As mentioned earlier, you could just convert the loyalist marine models to chaos if you were trying to get a single army out of Dark Vengence.

It means you're moddifying your models so that they look different.
(Hierzo verander je dus je Dark Angels in Chaos Space Marines - kan best lastig zijn om te doen, maar wie weet )

Basically in context, chepping off some DA symbols and chaosifying the DA models, giving you in effect workable CSM units.
Even if playing WYSIWYG, its within the realm of possibility to millage an army of over 1000 points there. not 1500, not even close unless you push it (and take some suboptimal choices)

Its still a very, very good start for a chaos army, even if many things are suboptimal (like the way the termies are set up, or the fact there are chosen as chosen, rather than just scattering them as team leaders)

can neither confirm nor deny I lost track of what I've got right now.

Hey spek, mods don't delete threads (well, unless they're spam) so don't worry about "cluttering up" anything! Your posts are just as valuable as anyone else.

Once this thread has run its course, it will fade off into the great unknown, somewhere past page 20.

speaking of which...do threads eventually die? or are they always available? I'm kinda paranoid about backing up some of my tactica articles should they one day just vanish due to bandwitch cleaning
