Here is a rough look at a list I'm planning to take at a Feast of Blades type Tournament.

I think this would be a cool chance to run 3 or 4 bloodthristers...

Daemon Princes are a tad more vulnerable to STR 10 instant death.

Good idea taking the cannon. Are you planning to start the letters in reserve?

I hadn't thought of that... I think I stuck DPs in stead of BTs because they were a tad cheaper... also hadn't decided on when to let the letters come in... maybe after the DPs and Soul Grinders do some damage.

while this list looks a little scary it is not deadly. As you must wait a turn before charging when coming out of flying mode. Most armies have the monvubility or fire power and sometimes both to make you get down and either kill you or ignore you

I'll post my new list. I totally changed it... only 1 FMC this time and 2 Soul Grinders... I beefed up the Letters and added Bloodcrushers as well as Skarbrand.

personally i'd drop that daemon prince and take skull taker
on a Juggernaut

I was hoping I could use him as a Flyer type unit. Other reasons I was bringing him was also because he becomes a Heavy Support choice instead of an HQ because of Skarbrand so I can keep to a proper CAD since I have 2 HQs already (Skarbrand and the Herald on the Blood Throne). If I replace the DP with a Skulltaker on jugg I'll have 3 HQs.

But you know what? Maybe that might workout if I fiddle around with the Bloodletter units... maybe make them 15 man squads and have 4 of them...that way I'll have 2 CADs.

Or maybe I drop Skarbrand since he can't fly anyway? And then maybe give the herald on the throne a locus that'll boost assault somehow for the army?

Actually... I probably don't need the flyer since I have Harvester guns to take care of air threats right?

Haha I know right? I was actually thinking of going all 'rainbow' today at work and mixing in all sorts of different 'gods'... like maybe put in some beasts of nurgle or some plague drones, some flamers and pink horrors, probably get some seekers involved too... but I wanna try out 'mono' god plus stuff that I think looks cool and not just plays cool. Next up I might try mono-Tzeentch to try out the whole daemon factory thing with pink horrors (that's how it works right?).

Actually after a couple weeks of testing everyone hates daemon factory now
Turns out it takes 7 warp charges to summon 10 T3 units reliably and then you can't kill anything that turn because all your offensive power is psychic powers and the sorcerer who cast it is dead because he periled because he rolled 7 or 8 dice.

Lol that sounds hella super fun! I would just want to see it happen... who cares about winning, right? 40k is about PEACE n LOVE! ...and chainswords...

Haha you're crazy man, go for it. Just remember you won't be killing anyone with spells, its all about MOVIN UP THE HORDE and punching people to death.
