Looking for feedback on my fun 2000 point Salamanders list:
HQ
Vulkan - warlord
Chapter Master - terminator armor, auspex, chainfist, shield eternal
Command Squad (5) - pod, apothecary, melta x4
Elite
Sternguard (5) - pod, heavy flamer x2
Legion of the Damned (5) - melta, multi-melta, combi-melta
Legion of the Damned (5) - melta, multi-melta, combi-melta
Troops
Scout Suad (5) - bolters, land speeder storm w/ heavy flamer
Tactical Squad (10) - pod, flamer
Tactical Squad (10) - pod, melta, combi-melta
Tactical Squad (10) - pod, melta, combi-melta
Heavy
Fire Raptor - autocannons
The idea here is the 2 tac squads and command squad (accompanied by the chapter master) come down turn 1 to bust vehicles or a Knight, or secure an objective. The scouts can infiltrate to secure another. The turn-2 drop is ideally vulkan w/ the sternguard, and possibly flamer tac squad. The legion are to combat more Knights... since they're everywhere lol! I figured the fire raptor will help cleanup MEQs and the autocannon can strafe by and shoot some light fliers, if the missiles are gone or out of angle.
Feedback? Thoughts? Obviously uses Forge World and not meant for super competitive/tournament play, but any critiques are welcomed!
