Hey all, been working on some white scars now and keep debating what to ally them with. Space wolves are the obvious choice but its been done to death, so I have landed on on AM. Now I have a tendency to pick units i want to paint and model but I do try to keep it competitive but I don't always go for the obvious choice or unit spam so keep that in mind.

Command squad on bikes: 4 vets 2x storm shield, 3x grav gun, 1x thunder hammer, 1x power lance

Chaplain - This guy goes with the guard platoon to give me a fearless hit and run guard blob.

5 bikes: 2x Melta, 1 MM attack bike

5 bikes: 2x Grav Gun

5 scouts in speeder storm

5 scout bikes with Grenade launcher ( I realize this unit is a bit soft but the models are soo good.)

2x Storm Talon with Skyhammer missles.

Astra Militarium

Company command squad w/ Autocannon heavy weapons team

Infantry plattoon: 25 guard with heavy weapon squad 3x Autocannon

Scout Sentinel Squad: 3 Sentinels with Autocannon's

Wyvern Battery: 2x Wyvern

Aegis defense Line.

Autocannon Heavy weapons stay behind the aegis line with the Wyverns.

Chaplain goes with the guard squad to give fearless and hit and run.

Scout bikers, scout sentinels and land speeder storm outflanking.

I dig it, but what about dropping the scout bikes (yeah they're cool) for 20 conscripts and a quad gun?

Up your blob (nasty) and add a little more back line dakka. A comm relay might be a consideration for reserve manipulation with those Stormtalons too.

Great suggestion, I will experiment with both of those!
