We'll find out soon enough eh.

Original topic:
Spoiler:
Just wondering if anyone's used these guys recently, they claim to have a few models in stock that I'm after and being able to order them all in one place with free shipping is far preferable to going round all the small companies that make them and ordering them individually with international shipping costs, but I've not been able to find much info on what Arcane Miniatures are like to order from, what little there is is predominantly negative but also several months or years old.

EDIT: Given Azreal's post, anyone know a reputable seller of Andrea Miniatures in the UK, as it seems that apparently AM themselves aren't reputable sellers of AM; I'm specifically after the 32mm "Battle Series" model "Ithandïr, Blade of Eternity", but on trying to order it from their site their ludicrous shipping costs and VAT calculations somehow turned an 11.5 euro model sent via basic package post into a bill of 34 euros.

I've never once seen anything positive.

My own experience is some time ago (last year?) where I placed an order, paid, but never received any sort of confirmation from the site, only from PayPal.

I left it a week or so, got no confirmation, dispatch note or anything. Contacted him.

No response.

Tried again about a week later

No response.

Opened a PayPal dispute.

No response.

PayPal ultimately issued me a refund, for an order I would have been happy to wait for if my existence had just been acknowledged.

I suspect the reason you can't find anything recent for him is because hardly anybody bothers ordering from him anymore, because my impression is that this is how it is and has always been.

I'd save yourself the potential issues and find somewhere else. Trolltrader have never been anything but excellent for me, and seem to overlap a lot of the smaller companies that AM stock.

Ach well, nevermind then. Thanks for the suggestion but alas Troll Trader don't stock Andrea's Battle Series models, so I might as well just order everything from their own stores.
