I was wondering if there is a directory of wargaming podcasts?
I love listening to various systems (even ones I don't play) but trying to find a decent list of 'what podcast' for 'which system' from 'where in the world' seems like an ongoing internet trawl.

I don't think there is.
iTunes can pull stuff up by keyword and I have found a few that I like through that.
Here are some great ones for Warmachine:
Chain-Attack - 3 hosts they go through a battle report and rank the casters (really well produced and sound is awesome).
Crippled System - 5 hosts from Madison WI, Its supposed to be a WM podcast but they get the ADD and its hilarious.
Muse on Mini's - 4-6 hosts depending on the day. These guys are the in depth analysis guys and still very funny.
Clockwork Vox - 2 hosts, under 30 minutes and really well done.
Non-Warmachine
D6 Generation. 2 hosts and sometimes a 3rd (unless thats changed) they do TTWG, Board Games etc. Fun show but 3 hours long.
Hope that helps a bit.

Worlds End Radio is good http://worldsendradio.com/ (It began as GW focused, but now coved a bunch of other stuff)
And Game Classy http://planetarbitrary.com/category/game-classy-podcast/ is an entertaining listen (although maybe an acquired taste)
I've also started giving Flock & Awe a go http://flockandawepodcast.wordpress.com/ it has a fair bit of malifaux content amongst others

For Warhammer 40k, there are dozens. However, I only listen to: The Independent Characters 40k Radio I haven't been entertained by anything else. Honorable Mention: Front Line Gaming Podcast I have listened to them, and they are entertaining, but they're a mix of 40k and general stuff and usually less than an hour long. I prefer the 2-3 hour podcasts while I'm painting miniatures that IC and 40k Radio deliver.

We've just added a podcast section to dakka as well (click podcasts at the top of any page). We'll slowly be adding in recommended podcasts over the next few weeks so keep checking and you'll have loads of stuff to listen to:
