So I promised my FLGS to do a 500 army that they randomized for me and I got Chaos daemons, an army with which I have very little experiance with. I'v decided I want to do a mono-God army so as to make it slightly thematic and I would like your help with designing a fun and somewhat usable army. I don't want to do a slaanesh army but all other Gods are cool and my plan is to do a fast, assault army that'll probably be unbound. Here are some of my ideas:

Nurgle
Herald on a palanquin
10 plaguebearers
5 nurglings
3 drones

The plan would be that the nurglings infiltrate and the drone zoom forward with an icon so the herald can deepstrike close.

Tzeentch

Herald on disc
2x3 flamers
5 screamers
Burning chariot

Khorne

Karanak
2x3 bloodcrushers
5 hounds of khorne

The khorne list should do alright, but I'd swap the one unit crushers out for more hounds.

something like 16 horrors and a tzeralds on a disc, some screamers and a soul grinder. Use the grinder to apply shooting pressure and go to town on bringing more daemons in.

Can I ask why no Sexy God?

Yeah, good luck, daemons are crippled in many ways having only 3 natural shooters in the army book. Are you trying to be the ringer? Otherwise I would mix and match and get a greater daemon or prince and try to sneak in a victory to two

I'm an eldar player primarily so I'll never go near she who thirst. And I figured summoning is the best way to go but I'm not going to buy 1500 points of models for an army that will most likely grow beyond 500 points. I've also considered doing a list with either a daemon prince or a soul grinder and then drones, screamers or hounds.

Nurgle is pretty effective at low points because Nurglings are very cheap units and effective objective-keepers.

Plaguebearers are also a good choice.
