I know there are some warperson units, but what about getting a solo with the attached[warperson] rule.
Do they activate together as a unit or are they separate?

They are seperate. But most require you to be near the caster for them to work, some B2B

I can't think of any Solos that are weapon attachments. Is the someone specific in mind. Unit attachments and Weapon attachments do become part of the unit and must follow all the rules for being part of a unit.
The attached rule is different. It, usually, applies to a War (noun). The attached model does not become part of a caster unit or even part of the caster's battle group.

He's talking about models with the 'Attached' rule, like Cygnar's Squire.

Unless they're also a Companion like Finch or Deryliss.

It's not the attached rule that makes them part of the battle group. That takes a different rule- Companion.

Just remember the words mean exactly what they say. People coming from GW rule sets find this a bit of a change. If something does not specifically say it is part of a battle group or unit it is not.
