Hello, for my first WHFB army I chose Chaos Daemons of Slaanesh specifically. Any advice or recommendations would be appreciated, but so far I have:

so I'm at 1975 now.

Put your herald on the ground in a big unit of daemonettes 50+ or so with your favorite gifts and power and/or masque
Lvl4 on the keeper
Herald in the seekers (convert one of the seekers) with gifts and power
Chariots run plain

I agree about taking the herald off of the chariot. With the chariot rules combined with template weapon rules, things like cannons or stone throwers could kill both with one shot, and there's very little you can do to defend it. Heck, with randomized hits from BS based shooting, even that can pick off the herald. There really isn't any particular benefit to having the herald on the chariot.

Also, while cool looking and fluffy, the Slaanesh chariots actually kind of suck. Their T and S are both too low, and they don't have sufficient armor to make up for it. They die too easily and don't kill enough to make up for it.

Yeah, I think my guy and I are going to combine my Slaanesh with his Nurgle.
