I'm going to be starting in a campaign this weekend, with a Barrow Kings themed list.
It's pretty heavily restricted; 0-1 warmachine, 0-1 monster, 0-1 chariot(or units of chariots), 0-1 ethereals.
Once a model with an army specific magic item is killed, that item is out of the campaign (except for 1 use items).
The unit restriction applies to summoning as well... if I have an ethereal unit on the table, I cannot summon another.
Here's what I'm thinking about running:
Necro Lord, level 4, lore of Undeath.
Tomb Prince, General, Armor of Destiny, great weapon
Wight Kings BSB, heavy armor, enchanted shield, Opal Amulet
Necromancer, lore of vampires, level 1.
6 Chariots, full command, banner of swiftness
40 Skeletons, full command, light armor and shields
20 Zombies
24 Grave Guard, full command, great weapons
10 Black Knights, full command
2 Fell Bats
1 Casket of Souls
The necros bunker in the zombie unit. Prince most likely will end up in the skeletons, with the BSB help for a really tough static combat res block.
Chariots and knights hold the flanks. Fellbats are a stop-gap.
I've got enough undead to be able to summon anything; though hex wraiths are likely first up.
Fluff behind the army is that the Tomb Prince is the master of the crypt, and the ravaging wars have brought in looters who have awoken those within the Barrows.

BKs without lances or a Blender Lord isn't that scary. 24 GGs are just too few, use the points from the BKs to give them Banner of the Barrows and use the rest to increase their numbers.

Knights have lances, just forgot to note it. I've had a lot of luck with BK without vampires to gain use of the ethereal movement. Being able to advance and hide behind a building and charge through it is really useful. At 2,000 I'm pretty much stuck between blender lord OR level 4, cannot afford both.
As for the banner of the barrows, it is good, but I do have the option to shift the prince into the grave guard unit if I need +1 to hit (making them WS5).

Umm, a Tomb Prince is master of the crypt? I mean, is it some other guy that you're just using the rules for a tomb prince? Or is it, legit fluff-wise, a tomb prince?
Sorry this is a pointless post, but I'm just curious.

The master of the crypt isn't a rule, it's his fluff title. He is a tomb prince.

I know it's his title, I just hate hearing of a Tomb King commanding his "crypt", not tomb.

Don't you need line of sight to charge???
So I don't get exactly how you can charge through a building

So I don't get exactly how you can charge through a building
Angle the unit so that if anything tried to charge you, closing the door would put your or the enemy into the building, making it impossible to be charged.
Your own movement counts as ethereal, making impassable terrain count as open (you just can't end in impassable terrain).
So, you're basically peeking around the corner, and then leaping through the lists.
