Those that have attended the Golem Fundamentals Painting Course will know now how I view the miniature painting world. The Fundamentals are about keeping things simple and efficient, therefore cheap and easy.

This is something I'd really like to learn how to do, live in Finland so not able to do the course

Refreshing to see, I for one am getting a bit sick of the gimmicks clogging up the P+M showcase.
Old school is the new cool.
Manchester is a little too far for me from Bristol unless I can tie it in with something else.
I hope this is successful, please bring a road trip down south!

Could you give a short description on how you made the paint peel effect for those of us who wont be able to attend?
Crackle paint? Some sort of special product? Simply an illusion by using nothing but paint?
