Just attained these miniatures so want to give it a go, tell me what you think though as I have a lot more stuff but don't want to play a 3000 point game yet.

GREY KNIGHTS
Librarian ML 3 (roll Divination for Prescience, attached to Draigo's Centurion squad)
Kaldor Draigo (attached to Centurion squad)
5x Terminators (loaded into Stormraven)
5x Purifiers with 2x Incinerators (loaded into Drop Pod)
2x Nemesis Dreadknights with Heavy Psycannon, Gatling Psilencer, Personal Teleporter (start game on field, teleport into good shooting position turn one if need)
1x Stormraven with Twinlinked Lascannon and Twinlinked Multimelta

SPACE MARINES
Tigurius (roll Telepathy to get Invisibility, attached to Draigo's Centurion squad)
5x Scouts with Camouflage Cloak and Sniper Rifle
3x Centurion Devastators with Grav-cannon and Grav-amp (attached to Draigo)
1x Drop Pod

This army has few troops which could be a problem - also horde armies could potentially be very cumbersome. However, unlocks very awesome and elite choices from both the Grey Knights and Space Marines in forms of Centurions with Gate of Infinity and Invisibility, Drop Podding Purifiers with Cleansing Flame, Nemesis Dreadknights and a Stormraven.

I also have a bunch of armor to go a more shooty AM allied route... they're kind of different strategies though so I don't think they'd mix and match too well, and I'm trying to determine which is more effective. The AM allied list excludes the Draigostar and therefore any SM units, and instead brings in Pask with a squadron of Leman Russ', and Wyvern Heavy Support. Thoughts?

Can you get an empty pod for your purifiers from the Marine book? I thought only the Wolves can do that.

Oh really? I've been wondering about that and how that works I'm not exactly sure... maybe you can enlighten me?

In the SM book, you can only take pods as dedicated transports for certain squads, cents not being one of them. The the new Space Wolves book, you can take a drop pod as a fast attack choice by itself, and load it up with battle brothers. However, this is not a problem for your list , as Draigo comes with Gate of Infinity now, so you can just deep strike your cent star directly to where it will do the most damage. Less reliable than a pod, but it saves you 35 points and is actually legal which, you know, is a plus.

Ok this is good info thanks. The Drop Pod isn't for the Draigostar it's for the Purifer squad. So if this is the case, I suppose I could just take a Rhino instead for the same cost.

Any other suggestions?

you could take a basic plain tact squad and a pod but have the purifiers ride in it...

You can't. Right now only space wolves can give other armies access to drop pods.
