Hi everybody I'm here to share with you a mad project of mine and this is gonna be about the Inquisition. I found out the story of this incredibely cool inquisitor (kryptman) who used the deathwatch and the magos biologis from the adeptus mechanicus to fight the biofleet leviathan. So here it goes, this are just the first tree models of my Inquisitor retinue, hope you like them

this is a Gun Servitor made out of a sentinel and, well... not much more. I'm looking forward to add some details or even something bigger. We'll see.
[

this is my favorite: tha magos.this guy was originally grima from the LOTR serie. I added a hood, a mechanical arm, some cables and a floating eye made with glue and a tiny wire

this is the detail of the arm, carved out of multiple part of imperial guard tanks I had around

Hope you like 'em. I'll try to update this blog soon so come back to see more if you liked it let me know if you have some suggestions, thoughts or anything!! ciao ciao!!!!!

ok, second day of work, second day of photos!

i worked a lot on my gun servant this time, adding the "pilot" and a few more details here and there. Here's the result!

i've also been making a few experiments with the crusader's shields. this is wat came out

so, since the thing I posted so far do not look as interesting as I hoped, it's time to bring in the artillery

so, here's the inquisitor himself

Hope you like it, this is still gonna need some more refined work but it still gives you an idea of the finished model
as always if you have any sugestions or anything, go on and tell me everything!

ciao!

I like the inquisitor a LOT. Heaps of character. I think the paint job will be important to make sure it does not look like a Stormtrooper too much.

I quite like the gun servitor. It is big, but characterful. It will need to be brought together by the paintjob.

The Grima model is... fine. I do not hate it, nor do I love it, and a good paint job will make it very good, I expect.

I dislike the assassin. I think the main issue is that I simply do not like the base model.

So, overall, very nice. Looking forward to seeing more, including those crusaders, and some paint on things. Maybe even just a white basecoat with a devlan mud wash to tie the parts together into a cohesive whole.

By the way, don't be put off by the lack of replies. My own Necromunda/Inquisimunda gang has very few replies too. I think people are more likely to comment on painted models rather than bare conversions, so I am holding out for when I get that far!!!

Though guards may sleep and ships may lay at anchor, our foes know full well that big guns never tire.

That Inquisitor is super cool. Very John Blanche, what with that cage-like helmet.

Wow, i really like your inquisitor, and I think I like your assassin so far, though the face isn't that clear to me without paintjob, but I think it's fine ^^
The paintjob on the inquisitor is awesome, you did a great job not making a big flat surface. One minor thing I'd ike to say is that it looks like your freehand 'I' should bend a little more in the folds.

that's totally true. I will try to put more enfasis on the shadows and lights of the free hand, that should do the work

thank everybody for your feedback!! I will update this thread soon

here I am again with a few updates: I'm working on another magos inspired by an AMAZING model by john blanche. I've also been working a little on the inquisitor. Here are some pics for you

my plan now is to start working with green stuff, cover some gaps on the mini and create something like a sewing on the hood and cape of the magos. stay tuned

I've decided to expand this project A LOT, I want to grow a big army using everything at my disposal. So, here comes the adeptus mechnicus WIP, they are missing the head with the hood and some rags, but I want to make some more practice with the greenstuff before working on it

update: I've been making a few experiments, building mechanicus masks in different ways, this is my latest result. They still lack the hood and maybe some more detail. I really need some advices on how to make these look better

BTW, here are some of my new scuplting tool XD hahahaha, they are kinda unrefined, but they work fine XD

I had some king of epiphany yesterday and I started building this strange thing. this is as big as a dreadnought and is gonna have a nice hunck-back, a big hood and an enormous flamer. I still need to change the feets of the old naghash into something more robot-like. Hope you like the idea!

Love this. What are the robed models I see on your desk as a part of your troops contingent? Inquisitor looks great, love the freehand also, and this later guy is also great! Good work my friend, I'll definitely be keeping up with this one.

Wow, just as with your Inquisitor, you put a lot of effort to really make things come alive when you're painting :p
I love your style, the weathering/rusting, flame effect are really cool, you seem to know what/why you're doing things, I like that ^^

wow... thank you sooooo much

here's a new pic for you guys. I decided to make the red robe look more cold so I used ice blue and bleached bone with the lights. do you like the wa it looks? it still needs more shadows imho and the blending are not smooth enough, i'm gonna work on that.

so, I've been painting quite a lot this days and this is the outcome. the mega-tech-priest is almost done! it just needs some details I worked on the blending making them a little more soft and added a few shadows all around and I also painted the base! I was thinking about adding ice and snow to the base, what do you think about it?

sorry for the pics, the light during Italy's rainy days is quite... flat...

ladies and gents I'm really really proud to introduce you the mega tech-priest finished! it actually lacks the snow (maybe, I don't really know if I want to add it) and the writings on the purity seal on the back, but I guess that's not very important XD I'm really really happy because this model is actually fully recicled and is very very close to what I had in mind!

so, here we go hope you like it as I do!
