I don't think shoota boyz are the right choice for Green Tide, especially if the Green Tide warboss is your warlord. You will be Waaghing/running every turn, because you can; which mean you will be unable to shoot.
The Green Tide is tough to kite because you have 16+ inches of threat, (6" +
3D6 with a reroll), and you take up a huge portion of the table.
