Hi Dakka I really enjoy playing 40k competitively however I work most weekends. I am going to meet some one this week and he said he will be bringing a competitive list. I think it is Necron with a Knight other then that I do not know. I will let everyone know how it turns out. This will be the list I am bringing any last minute changes let me know. We will be playing malistorm missions and are limited to 2 sources 1850.

I do one that is similar ( serpent spam + tau cadre) but I kit the tau with railguns to work with their tank hunter, and take hawks instead of spiders

Well, can't really comment on Eldar, maybe have something with Haywire to deal with Knights easier (that's if they get Haywire).

But if there is one thing I must say, remove the Shield Drones from the Riptide - lose one and that's a Ld test.

If they can take HYMP, might be worthwhile getting some Missile Drones for the Broadsides

Swooping hawks are jump infantry with haywire grenades.
