Hello everyone! Now with the release of the new edition I have been inspired thanks to Unbound Armies to potentially put together one based on one of if not my favorite 40k model, the Death Korps of Krieg Death Riders. As of now I for sure plan on getting a large number of these guys but have considered multiple options to complete them and this is just one of the many ideas I am brainstorming. The fluff with this Regiment is that I will only take Mounted or Dismounted infantry and support weapons that could be pulled by horses (or equivalents such as Centaurs) into combat, definite WWII Polish Cavalry influence with this list. Also take into account that this list is purely for FRIENDLY GAMES and not the tournament scene and it is meant to be both fluffy yet semi competitive at the same time. TACTICS:

-With this list I have over x70 Death Riders (they are much better then Rough Riders statistically ((*Unlike normal Rough Riders these guys have a 6+ Feel No Pain, a 4+ Armor Save, x2 Wounds, Frag and Krak Grenades and never take morale checks for suffering shooting casualties. Only drawback is they don't get access to Special Weapons.*) which will look absolutely amazing on the table top and be the core of my list.

-x2 Batteries of Laser Destroyers (*Will be making conversions so they look like a WWI or WWII Anti-Tank Cannon pulled by horses) each with an additional crew member for survivability to serve as my anti-heavy armor unit. I also have x2 Batteries of Heavy Mortars with Carcass Shells (*or Quad Guns, either way will be using the Quad Gun model for both*) to represent light artillery pulled into battle by dedicated Horse Artillery units. They have the job of thinning out the ranks of any Horde Armies I may come across.

Pray your opponent doesn't take flyers?

I plan on getting 2500 points total so I will probably add a flyer in eventually but for now this is what I am leaning towards for the first 2000pts.
