Okay, but yeah, been thinking of making my own plasticard buildings based on stuff I would like but the makers of the MDF laser stuff charge a bit, and i have plenty of pounds of plastic from Industrial Plastics to play with.

Can't go wrong, since you can always use more spring clamps or drill bits that they sell cheap

I replaced that overhead fixture, you're right...it really adds that extra ambient light that is needed

Yeah, it's still that way too. I've been busy with outdoor autumn chores and getting ready for Thanksgiving in the US tomorrow, and arranging to get new gutters and spouts put on our house before winter hits us,

although it went from a lovely, sunny 70F day to absolute crap rain and cold LITERALLY overnight, and it has just gotten crappier for a week straight since. I needed the downspouts put on before it rained, Still dry as a bone down here though

Not that we get weather, but it has changed overnight here too. Was still really nice a week ago, but now it is really quite nasty.

Think your blue just needs breaking up a bit, maybe a large companies logo.

There is a subwoofer, speakers, and laptop for the moment. That, and copious amounts of alcohol enabled the entire project from the beginning. I am still looking to source a second turntable for the basement.

The blue is between coats, so it will look quite different. I'm not anywhere near done actually, I just need some solid time to sit and work. I have to work the holiday today, then tomorrow is busy...maybe the weekend...who knows?

well, I had to work on thanksgiving, so we planned on dinner today instead. I bought 2 fresh turkeys 3 days ago, put one in the fridge, one in the freezer for later frying. Ladygeek got the turkey out of the fridge today and it smelled rank! So I took them back to the meat market and got my money back. So still no turkey dinner for us. I told her I'd take her out to dinner. Beware ANYTHING sold as Amish- it's the biggest scam in the Midwest USA. The Amish are not holier than thou, they will screw you over and rip you off and take your last dollar. - Rant over. Now, let's get to some painting....

so I shouldn't buy online from Amish guys?

I guess their refrigeration skills are not that great. I remember when I was a teenager and managing a comic store next to a Chinese food place. Their refrigerator went out one day and they unloaded all the cases of chicken onto the back dock....in 100 degree weather. It sat for three days before the landlord forced them to buy their own dumpster and have it all hauled away. Nastiest smell I had encountered up to that point in my life. I also didn't eat there for two weeks....it was my go to lunch for $4 at the time.

@Theo - right....Never trust a turkey with a little beard and suspenders. Funny, we went to the grocery store, and fresh turkeys were on sale super cheap. Like $6!

Thank you! Yeah: international move, buying and renovating a house (I feel your pain), and honestly just focusing on other hobbies for a while has kept the projects in their protective cases in the basement. We moved via plane, so a lot of side projects/armies got sold (SM, Tyranids, VC, and Fantasy Chaos). The 104th, my Dwarf army, the =][= war band, and a SM Scout combat patrol project all made it back. I've been lurking a bit around Dakka and the GW site for the last couple months. I recently found a FLGS that runs games, so now I'm quite inspired to get back to it. Hopefully you'll see some updates soon

I got that kit from a vendor's table at the Great American Train show- looking online, it appears to still be available...sort of.., It appears to be the same as this kit

Yep Theo- That's all brands. It's more difficult to find the Actual Walther's O Scale Cornerstone kits on Walther's site.
