Are they all cheaper? Sell them off before 'forces of war' renders them obsolete?

EasyArmy didn't render the books obsolete, so I don't see Forces of War doing so.

And yes, they're all cheaper. The old prices are marked out in the back and the new prices are in the front in red.

You sod Ghaz!

£18 for those hardbacks is extremely reasonable, been thinking of getting Red Bear for ages and that removes any barrier.

Books, books and more books. Its getting like GW where you need a different set of rules for every day of the year

Don't get me wrong the books are very nice, beautifully illustrated and good value at the price, but I only have so much book shelf space

I`m thinking about getting one of those mobile library vans and parking it on the driveway

But at least most of these books offer something different, a representation of another force, rather than just a re-cycling of what has come before with a few bits of blurb swapped around, a stat change here and there, and an increased price tag for the privilege.

The books are still showing as full priced at the moment on the FoW homepage, I wonder when the changes will take effect?

I've held off on picking up Atlantik Wall up till now since there haven't been many lists in that book that I have had a desire to play, but with this price drop, I will certainly be looking at picking it up.

Take the savings from the books and build a new bookcase

This is good news though. I've been waiting to pick some of the compilations up, so now that the price has decreased I probably will go ahead and do that soon.

Good news. I'm unlikely to pick up any of the compilations because they're so unwieldy and heavy. I was going to pick up Fate of a Nation anyway but Barbarossa is now much more tempting.

Me too,i need three hardbacks to finish my collection of current print ones.
As for the pdf i am not much for using electronic devices when i am playing to look stuff. The only thing i like about them are the unscruplus and legal pdfs.So that i may check them out before purchasing.Especially with the old 50 buck price.
Or i hope this is not a pre cursor to a 4th edition next year.

The prices on the official site have now reduced (not sure if because this has just happened, or because I cleared cache on my browser?)

Apparently the prices will be reduced through vendors as well which is a nice move, will be looking out for this to change.
