After some delays I can announce that the MIniature13 Kickstarter has been fulfilled and rewards shipped to Backers. I'd like to tank all of those that backed and helped make this a reality. Thank you, you guys are the best!.

I've made an announcement on the news and rumors where you can see images of the final minis or click the links below to go directly to the site.

Cheers

Best of luck with it all.

Please do keep us informed as things progress.

Whoa, awesome concepts!! Very Infinity-like. Looking forward to seeing a cast. Will you be having them made in metal or resin?

We'll find out soon enough eh.

Can't wait to see some of the human concepts in model form.

I need to acquire plastic Skavenslaves, can you help?
I have a blog now, evidently. Featuring the Alternative Mordheim Model Megalist.

Any chance of some female minis that don't rely on skintanium armour?

Didn't really get that till I went and read his fluff. Talking about Minds and warships named Lack of Interest, it does indeed seem very Culture inspired (in the good way).

Has a very Halo/Destiny/Mass Effect feel. Very video-gamey HI-tech sci-fi (so many hyphens!) which is something that you don't see much of in miniatures. Somebody mentioned Infinity, which is funny because Infinity started out copying japanese Hi-tech/cyberpunk anime and has moved closer to the western style sci-fi videogames in recent years. It's a style that I freaking adore, and an art style that I adore. MERCS comes probably the closest, and Deadzone has some potential on that front, but this is pretty much exactly what I want in a sci-fi setting and I'm super stoked to see these

There will be plenty of properaly armoured female warriors. The character above, Rayne, isn't a frontline fighter, usually she's at the back or off site doing her thing.
She does love her fashion though, and skintanium is very 'in' this season

They are all going to be cast in resin for the foreseeable future.

Yes i am a bit of a culture fan, i've always liked the way he named his ships. I am also excited to see the concepts as models

Destiny was definitely one of the things i said to the artist in the beginning, Halo to a lesser extent, somehow i completely forgot about Mass Effect :(. I'm glad you like the art direction., like you, it's a style i've always wanted to see more off but it's not done a whole lot. I love infinity but i always felt it was a little too anime, although they do have beautiful minis.

Thanks for the support guys, means a lot. I am really excited to see these concepts turned into minis and i definitely think you will love the end result.

Awesome that they will be resin, not metal! The fiddly metal bits is the one huge downside to Infinity models, imo.

This is totally up my alley. I love the sleek high-tech sci-fi look. I'm interested to see some models as well.

Metal can definitely require a hell of a lot of patience, i don't mind admitting that more then a few have beaten me

I really like that "Scarecrow" concept...

and you can never have too much "Culture"!

Wow, love the concepts for these! And as has been said the Culture-type background.

And although I don't want to reference beyond their use in this game, which sounds like it is getting a lot of effort, I'm wondering if we could be seeing the first real compliment in miniatures to Infinity to come from someone other than CB?

These are really excellent concepts. And this guy has the guts to make proper sci-fi reptilian race miniatures? Class act.

I'll be watching your progress with great interest.

Any chance of seeing more renders, or maybe even a 3d print, before the year is out?

Also have to say, I like the range name but it is hard to search for . Re-found this thread by just searching "13", as I couldn't remember the first part (I was thinking "Studio 13" rather than "Miniature 13").

Thanks everyone for the positive comments

I'm after receiving the first cast of the overseer miniature and it looks fantastic, unfortunately due to a mix-up at the casters there were no head in the bag:( I really wanted to show it off this weekend but i guess it will have to be next week :(

Again thanks for the comments, made my day!

Wow. The art concepts look amazing. Never a fan of robo Dino's but you made me really like the one you showed. I can defiantly see myself buying them for infinity or if this grows into your own skirmish game.

I really love the style of art, especially the Halo/Destiny futuristic stuff that looks so plausible and smick. If you can get something that looks like the Spartan recruit or better yet, an ODST, I will sell my left kidney to buy squintilions of them from you.

Speaking of which, anyone need a kidney? Potentially have one available. PM me your blood type and I'll see what I can do

Don't know how I missed this, love the art, love the culture, and I'll definitely be looking forward to seeing how things look once they're cast if it comes out anything like the concepts I think you're on to a winner.

I'm happy you like him. I do plan to create my own skirmish game, but for now my focus is on making the best miniatures i can.

Glad you like the concept art, Destiny was definitely one of references i mentioned to the artist, i love the way it looks and feels.
If you sell your kidney let me know and i'll start producing a few squintillion inspired recruits
