Hey guys,

Just about to start a big push at making some scenery for FoW. So far the few games I have had have just been on the kitchen table with boxes as cover lol.

I have about 6' of hedge rows done and now have a massive roll of teddy bear fur that I am looking to make some fields out of.

Question is, how big should I make them? is 1'x1' too big? Or is it better to have some big fields and then some smaller ones? Or should I go crazy and make all sorts of shapes and sizes lol.

Geometric shapes in multiple sizes will work great.

Go with variety. Find an overhead view of farmland, and look at the patchwork quilt that is the landscape.

Go nuts man!

Oh they look very nice, much nicer than a door mat cut up, can feel the wind blowing just looking at them. Looks nice with the hedges as well

As for sizes.. consider how long you have for fences and hedgerows, and make the sides that or a multiple of it.

Went with approx 8" squares here, one cut in half diagonally so as to avoid everything being a grid.

Is that tiger being followed by cavalry?
