Spawn of Chaos

Vastra Gotaland

Hello. I don't know which unit to get next for my CSM army. My opponents are a tyranid player, a tau player and an GK/SM player and the one that is hardest for me to get is the tyranid player

The things i have is

2 chaos lords. One with terminator armor and one without

a sorcerer

Abbadon

20 cultists

10 csm

8 berzerkers

10 noice marines

havocs with lascannons and havocs with missile lanchers

one rhino

an heldrake

a helbrute

a landraider

and a Chaos Spartan Assault tank

what do you think is the thing that will help out the most?

More marines or cultists. Maybe another Rhino or 2. If you decide to get more cultists, consider picking up Typhus, as well.

Then again, you have an LR, so maybe some Terminators.

Some bikes wouldn't be a bad choice, either

You've got a really good base of stuff to work with, so I'd say pick out things that will enhance your desired list-type.

Edit starts here

Oh, you should probably pick up a daemon prince and a box of spawn. You'll probably end up needing them at some point, in case of spawnhood/dark apotheosis.

More Chaos Space Marines , regardless of the direction you might follow further down the line for me 2 or 3 squads of CSM are always the base of army , that dos not mean that you have to use them every single game but they provide a good base to build upon , if you magnetize them they can fit in a CC role (good for shield your heavy hitters and to thin down approaching hordes) or just a 20 man squad with bolter and heavy bolters/ Autocannons for Board Control.

Also get another Rhino , they will need mobility , after that pick your cult unit of choice ( plage marines are very solid or Noise marines for firepower ) and load the Chaos Lord(with terminator armour)with the Terminators in to the Land raider and Point it at the biggest treat on the board. Get the the Midfield with the CSM and press the advantage with the cult troops and the terminators (and whatever Heavy / Fast support you field) .

Tyranids with many FMC are just one of the hardest current setups for CSM.

I'd suggest getting a few bikes and take MoN on them. Add some Spawns, if you still want to spend some bucks also a Maulerfiend or two. All of this will add a lot of speed to your army, allowing you to hit where needed with quite some T. Against Tyranids with FMC I had the best success with killing everything non-flying and playing the objectives.

My armies:
Eldar
Necron
Chaos Space Marines
Grey Knights
Imperial Knights
Death Guard

20 more Cultists, a Forgefiend or two and Plague Marines. The backbone to any Chaos army. Keep in mind that a Fearless Cultist blob (cheap Lord attached in) can no,d a unit of Tyranid monsters for a game and there's not much that can handle two Forgefiends focussing fire.
