Alright guys. Im joining a narrative league in my town, and it starts at 1000 and works up, but with limited list changes allowed between games. Ill be facing mostly SM of various fandoms, but I havent played many of the other players, so Im gonna have to run a catch-all list. Note: as it is narrative, no relics are allowed. Thoughts?

Painboss
Warboss in Ma with BP

12 Boys w/ nob, pk, bp in trukk w/ram
12 Boys w/nob, pk, bp in trukk w/ram

Deffkopta w/TLRL
6 Bikers w/nob, pk, bp

Battlewagon w/ram, rokkit
11 Lootas w/mek, killsaw
Looted wagon w/ram, rokkit, killkannon.

Warboss and painboss go with lootas for a nasty unit
It seems pretty solid to me. Thoughts?

Looks good, but I don't know about putting the Lootas in a battlewagon with the Warboss and Mek. Driving around in a battlewagon is a lot of snapshots, plus it's an easy target priority. I try to spread out my powerful units, forcing my opponent to make hard decisions about what to target first.

Personally, I run my lootas in cover and they remain stationary for most of the game. Anything within range gets blasted. But Lootas aren't always reliable.

I'd suggest having your Warboss and Mek go with choppa boys for maximum assault. And get some planks on your trucks & wagons. That extra 2" is gold.

Also, a single deffkopta is an easy first blood to your opponent. Looking to capture tactical objectives with a single kopta?

Yeah, i was thinking about taking to Kopta out.

Loot as will have relentless because of the warboss, meaning that the wagon can push forward 12" on the move. Warbikes run in front to give cover saves. At 1000 points, my opponent will have to prioritize the units he wants to target, and with a nasty template and warbikers moving upfield, the BW has other things to draw fire. And should it die, the pain boss gives them a save so they can slog forward while firing, and actually maybe survive. Especially with the MA warboss tanking everything but AP2

At 15points, the plank really isn't worth it on a trukk. Sure, 2" is awesome, but it's not 2.5 boys awesome. On a BW though, definitely.

Just a thought, if you're putting a MA WB in with the Lootas to give them SnP, why not use a MA Big Mek with an equally shooty gun? Seems like a bit more in theme and useful

Actually, if I remember correctly, vehicles that moves at cruising speed simply makes the occupants fire snap shots. Not counting as having moved.

Of Course, I could perhaps be wrong, as I don't have the rulebook with me right now.

EDIT: Nevermind, I forgot that models counts as having moved in combat speed.
