this is my attempt at a all comers list tell me what you guys think i should do to improve it,

lord goes with spawn, cultists are held in reserve as late as possible to walk on and secure objectives/keep havocs safe, everything else rushes except the squad of PMs with plasma they hold mid field and back up who ever is struggleing

only thing I would do is to ally the DP so you can get rewards/not waste psychic powers on the nurgle tree/generally be more awesome. Take 11 pink horrors to replace the cultists.

Nevermind I see why you have 4 troops.

Looks pretty solid overall, though I'd like to see some more psychic support for the prince. If all his powers get shut down it will be hard for him to pull his weight.

In my opinion Havocs are generally outclassed by oblits, I would reccomend dropping them in favor of oblits or another maulerfeind.

i thought about oblits but i want to be able to out range many of the 36" guns out there plus 7-8 wounds in cover is better than 2 and 3 oblits respectively i think, i loose some anti infantry killing power but i got alot of that already so ill think about it, but i dunno if it will happen.

if i drop a squad of cultists i can grab 2 squads of 3 obilts no mark of nurgle but 2 squads of three non the less... is that equal to 8 las cannon shots a turn with 15 wounds behind them? i dunno what do you guys think

I already have them and i haven't had a chance to use them, but have seen them used against my eldar and thought they did quite nicely

For oblits vs havocs, it comes less down to points or ablative wounds, and more about combat flexibility.

Put simply, you are more threatening with the oblits to more units in more ways than you are with the havocs. Effectively terminator armour, 6 wounds, T5 for MoN, powerfists in an assault, the ability to deepstrike, and a weapon for every occasion.

The havocs form a great single threat option, but typically fall to the shortcomings of every marine. 3+ is not much in this game anymore, cover is typically ignored, and you will be very non-threateningly average to sub-par in combat.

I think you'd do well to drop one havoc group in favor of a single oblit group with MoN.

Crimson Slaughter are not allowed to purchase VOTLW on non cult-troops. *typo edited*

I think he said that VotLW is not allowed on non-cult troops for Crimson Slaughter detachment. So, the Havocs cannot have VotLW as previously suggested.
