Interdasting. The TWC definitely need at least one PF (I mean S10 why not?) and I'd stick with dev cents.

Maybe even stick with one squad of Cents and get a CM to tank for the TWC. Unless of course you do happen to roll endurance then the CM can tank for the command squad.

I would like to see something like this in action.

Automatically Appended Next Post:
So looking at it, if you replace the command squad with another regular bike squad with 2 grav guns and get rid of the assault centurions you can get a CM with SE, AA, TH on a bike with 37 points to spare.

I also changed the TWC loadout to this:

3x SS/CCW, 1x PF/CCW, 1x PowerMaul/CCW

I think the CM brings a lot more to the table than the AssaultCents. Their melta is nice but 1 S9 AP2 attack is pretty underwhelming. CM puts out more than that by himself pretty much, and guarantees that your TWC will get where they want to be

Interesting suggestions, I will definitely add in a powerfist or two on the TWC.

I love a good CM, but I didn't want to front load so much into HQ since I already have Khan and need to keep him to keep scout.

I believe each assault cent is two str 9 ap 2 armourbane attacks each because they have a pair of specialist weapons, so 2 each, 3 on the charge. So 6 or 9 str 9 ap 2 armourbane attacks, plus 3 twin linked melta shots, and hurricane bolters, across three T5, 2+, 2 wound bodies for less points than the CM, and delivered right to the enemies doorstep thanks to SW drop pod is hard to toss away for the one CM.

That said the TWC could use a nice tank, but I designed the list in such a way that the opponent can't view the TWC as their biggest problem to focus down. Turn one they will have the khan command squad, and all 6 cents in there face owning anything they touch, if the opponent can ignore all that in order to shoot at the 5x storm shielded, hopefully enduranced, TWC barreling across the field, than more power to him lol.

I will run the numbers though and consider it.

Ok I had it mixed up on the Cents. They don't sound so bad now. They do put out a respectable amount of dakka, it's just a shame that there's no way to make the storm bolters jive better with their loadout.

I did see that you were going for a multiple threat overload approach, which I highly endorse. Play what ever feels right, you can always test several combos.

I think the list would work fine as is, with 2 squads of grav cents, or with a Chapter Master.

The only problem I see with the Chapter Master is making one of your high priority threats TOO hard to kill. I mean if you've got him tanking wounds for the TWC with Endurance, there's almost no reason to shoot at it. Although at that point you could always attach him to a bike squad with Khan and still have 3-4 high priority targets in their face turn 1. Grav Cents, TWC, hard to kill Grav bikers, and 10 GH with melta (if they consider that a threat)

Everything your saying makes sense, but remember the WS are the allies because I need all the fast attack slots of the SW for the Drop Pods, therefore I can only have 1 HQ, which I think needs to be khan for the infiltrate, and 1 heavy support, hence the single grav dev squad and not two.

Oh gotcha. I was thinking two CAD but I know that's a no-go for some metas.

I think you can only take two CAD if they're both from the same codex, if different dex's you're forced to take a CAD + Ally, but if thats not true I would definitely run two grav cent squads over the cent assault squad.

I'm pretty sure per the BRB (without tournament restrictions etc.) you can have as many CAD as you like regardless of what faction they are from. I may be wrong though.

Yeah I can take two CAD's of different Codex's, so I would go with something like to start:

SW HQ – Runic Priest (Level 2, Biomancy) w/ Bike & Runic Axe
SW Fast Attack – 3x Thunderwolf Cavalry w/ 3x Power Fist & 3x Storm Shield

WS HQ - Kor'Sarro Khan w/ Moondrakken
WS Command Squad w/ Bikes, Apothecary, 5x Grav-Guns

SW Troops – 10x Grey Hunters w/ 2x Flamers
SW Transport – Drop Pod

WS Troops - 5x Bikes w/ 2x Melta Gun
WS Attack Bike w/ Multi-Melta

WS Attack Bike w/ Multi-Melta

WS Heavy Support – 3x Centurion Devastator Squad w/ Grav-Cannons & Hurricane Bolters

Yeah it is, just an immense amount of raw power output with a still respectable 4 solid obsec units.

This list looks like a lot of fun.
