I am relatively new to 40K starting only a month before the 7th Edition GK codex was released... that being said, I have been delving deeply into the Grey Knights and have found some interesting tidbits in the form of the Vortimer Pattern Landraider / Razorback.

While in 6th Edition it make no sense and was wasteful to drop extra points on these models, now with 7th, and the loss of psybolt ammunition and the loss of psyker drivers, I am looking at these models in a new light.

Lets start with the razorback, just one flamer upgrade more in cost than a twin linked laser model - making it a bit spendy but...
You get twin linked psycannons (auto-cannons with a bit more punch), you get your psyker driver - which gives you one more dice in the psychic phase - AND lets you roll for Sanctuary for your 6+ invul save

With the landraider variant, you get your psyker driver, your extra dice, Sanctuary for 6+ invul save, AND you get +1 strength on your flamer. Not to mention psyk-out grenades on the front. All for the price of two and a half flamer upgrades.

Unless I am missing something - does this seem like a viable load out? I am pretty much sold on the psy-backs, but am not entirely sure on the landraider.
