Hey all, i'm thinking of expanding my nid army and was wondering what everyones opinions were on this list.

Hive Tyrant, Wings, 2x devs w/ blw
Hive Tyrant, Wings, 2x devs w/ blw

Venomthrope
Venomthrope
Zoanthrope

Hive Crone
Hive Crone
Harpy

2x Carnifex, each with 2x devs w/ blw
Exocrine
Toxicrene (when its released)

10 Termagants
10 Termagants

I know it doesnt contain much synapse, but i would plan to play the army as follows.
The flyrants, harpy and crones would fly forward, harrassing the other army as standard. I had hoped that a normal army wont have enough AA firepower to deal with this many fliers.
The Exocrine would stay back in some cover, hopefully a ruin, with a venomthrope to give both a 2++. The venom will just g2g each turn negating its instinctive behaviour, while the exocrine is fearless and as such is not overly affected by whether or not it passes its instinctive behaviour.
The Toxicrene and 2 carnifexes will then hop from cover to cover moving up the board while being provided synapse from the zoanthrope and shrouding by the venom.
The Termagants will then hold home objectives and possibly 1 squad follow up the Zoanthrope etc.

It does look a might low on Synapse. I think I'd want to drop the Harpy, and put in some Warriors, say 100 points worth... then spend the rest on something nice.

I'd have a pack of Rippers instead of one of the Gaunts, Deep Striking troops can be nice in this edition.

The only thing the Toxicrine is bring this list is Synapse. and a personal shroud.
