Im looking to start a British army for FOW. i want to do an armoured regiment but cant decide on which one. I want to start a regiment that has origins from where i was born or where i lived. i was born in Wiltshire and lived in Hampshire. i would rather a named regiment than just RTR or AC.

Can anyone help me with finding the right regiment? Plus the right book do construct a list for FOW?

thanks for your help.

Royal Wiltshire Yeomanry were converted to tanks, and fought in North Africa and then in Italy.

9th Battalion of the Hampshires, formed in 1940, was transferred to the RAC in 1941.
