Just a for fun list I slapped together while at work. It had been a while since I made a list with Grark Mc'Shinygubbinz as the focus (My personal Big Mek character). Sadly, he won't be romping around in his personal Morkanaught this time around! That being said, here we go!

HQs

Grark Mc'Shinygubbins (Big Mek)
- Mega Armor (Power Klaw/Kustom Mega Blasta by default)
- Da Lucky Stikk
- KFF
- Bosspole

Stiches (Painboy)
- No Upgrades

Troops:

Grark's Scrappin Krew x17 (Boyz + Nob)
- Slugga/Choppas

Gurk (Nob)
- Slugga
- Big Choppa
- Bosspole
- Stikkbombs

Scrappa Trukk Numba Wun x 11 'Ard Boyz (Including Nob)
- Slugga/Choppas
- 'Ard Armor

Doofus (Nob)
- 'Ard Armor
- Slugga
- Power Klaw
- Bosspole

Trukk
- Reinforced Ram

Scrappa Trukk Numba Tu x 12 'Ard Boyz (Including Nob)
- Slugga/Choppas
- 'Ard Armor
- Stikkbombs

Puny (Nob, and he hates his name)
- 'Ard Armor
- Slugga
- Power Klaw
- Bosspole

Trukk
- Reinforced Ram

Elites:

Da Salvagas; Skwad Wun x 6 (Tankbustas + Nob)
- Rokkit Launchas
- Tankbusta Bombs

Pinhead (Nob)
- Rokkit Launcha
- Bosspole

2 Bomb Squigs
Trukk
- Reinforced Ram

Da Salvagas; Skwad Tu x 6 (Tankbustas + Nob)
- Rokkit Launchas
- Tankbusta Bombs

Deadbolt (Nob)
- Rokkit Launcha
- Bosspole

2 Bomb Squigs
Trukk
- Reinforced Ram

Wut We Doin 'Ere!? 'Ey! Das Ours, Ya Grubby Gitz! 'EY! x 3 (Nobz)
- No upgrades, simply here to steal their Battle Wagon

Grark's Killhaula x 1 (Battle wagon, Dedicated Transport)
- Reinforced Ram
- Red Paint Job

Heavy Support:

Da Scrap Bins x 3 (Killa Kanz)
- Rokkit Launchas
- Kan Klaws

Da Pick A' Parts x 2 (Two individual Deff Dreads, but put them under the same title)
- Both equipped with 3 Power Klaws and a Skorcha

Stuff the 17 Boyz, Painboy, and Grark into the Battle Wagon with the two Ard Trukks covering his sides. The two Tankbusta squads will frollick around the field and see what damage they can cause. The Kanz and Dreads then can cause havok wherever they see fit. Kanz can tarpit shooty units if need be, while Dreads possibly hack up tanks or also tarpit a shooty unit, hack em up, or burn any who try to assault them first. the 3 Nobs just chill out and smokeJust a general all mayhem WHEEEE list with mechy theme.

Automatically Appended Next Post:
I think I may have messed up on points costs...I'll have to check in a second, so this list might be changing D:

Edit: Ok, I'm now only 2 points over as it stands. Removed PK from big boy squad and gave a Big Choppa instead, also removed one Ard boy from one of the trukk squads, removed a Kan, as well as taking off a Bomb Squig from each Tankbusta unit.

Looks good.
You don't have any anti-air but I think you would only need to worry about flyers which can drop templates onto you. If they have a couple of lascannons the will not cause you too many problems or damage. I would also be tempted by a third dreadnought rather than the three killa kans.

I'd throw a third Dread in if I owned one Sadly, I only own two, so the Kanz will have to do

Anti Air is always an issue with Orks though. I don't own Trakktors, and I haven;t had the chance to scratch build any (Plus I'm terrible at it...even for Ork standards) I''ll rely on Tank Bustas or just do what I've always done and ignore them. My local meta doesn't use them too often, and even then I've only ever faced Marine flying transports which never earn their points back after dropping off their cargo. And I've only faced them during my Green Tide. I'll probly just ignore em anyway XD Just easier. But if I can get Trakktors, I'd find a way to get em in

Perhaps discard DLS and take Da Finkin' Kap? I think this will be of more use. The spare 15 points can be spent on Boarding plank for Battlewagon as with SnP they will really need all that extra charge range.

My only concern is that the one Warlord trait I'd really want (Ability to infiltrate) won't confer to the Wagon. I guess which would be fine, except that then they get left in the open with no real protection. (Which is what the KFF is for, as well as DLS to really tank for the group, considering that AP2 is no doubt abound).

I could be mistaken, but unless someone can confirm for me (I don't have a rule book in front of me atm) that if the squad happens to get Infiltrate, that the Wagon does not get it, meaning I'd have dead points in the Wagon. D:

DLS is too powerful to be discarded IMO. SNP won't make much difference here as he can't waaagh! without a warboss anyway.

To my mind the wider issue is that the OP's army attacks at two speeds.

I would also drop the nobz on the tankbustas (they're not worth it) and use the spare points to buff the nobz squad a bit.

That's true in terms of the Nobz on the Tankbustas. Just figured it might keep them around a little longer.

I think my only worry with the Nobz is they are easy VP, but I really only brought them along for their dedicated transport.

I did pick weird attack speeds, but mostly since this list is purely for fun and for theme. But at the same time, the two speeds isn't a bad thing. The faster units get there...well...faster, and cause trouble. This allows the walkers to actually get to where they need to be relatively unharmed to do mass clean up on either infantry or whatever armor my Boyz or Bustas might not have been able to destroy. Target saturation is pretty thick, as they have to choose to kill either the large vehicle full of death, the smaller trukks full of death, or do they let those be, and focus on the walkers out back, which are a slower but just as painful load of death :p

How so?

My original reply to your post dealt with this point, but then my internet messed up.

I know some players do use the "nobz tax for an extra battlewagon" strategy you are describing. But IMHO everything you use should have a role beyond mere list cleverness. If you really want to do it then IMO the better way is to put five in a fast attack trukk with a power klaw and a waaagh banner. Getting rid of the tankbusta nobz would help to find the points for this. Alternatively, a minimalist meganob squad would work for this.

Fair play to you.

Ah, the old "gorka morka"... let me know how it goes. I would say you are assuming that a big enough chunk of your force will get through on the way in in order to tie up the rest of his army, which is a big "if". I run multiple wagons and even they don't always get through. Trukks can be taken out by small arms. A sensible player will be able focus his AT fire on the wagon long before your walkers are in threat range.

But if you already have the models then you may as well experiment.

The Wagon is a Dedicated transport correct?

If Inflitrate is given to the unit, have a look at the Infiltrate rule concerning DT's.

Any IC that you want to join will also have to have Infiltrate however, due to the timing of deployment.

So in otherwords, it wouldn't be worth taking since the Painboy wouldn't be able to possess it, correct? so in this case, just keeping DLS would be more wise.
