Page 64 – Power Field Generator
Add ‘If the bearer is embarked upon a Transport vehicle,
the power field’s effects only apply to models embarked
upon that vehicle’.


So no more PFG'd Land Raiders.

Well that seemed to be on the cards from they way they handled all the power fields in the ork codex

(although I'm astounded that GW has actually got round to releasing another FAQ, I thought that department had been laid off they've been so quiet recently)

I buy the english books only but for those who purchase translated versions there are more changes. The german errata pack has updates for the rulebook for example

There are also many updates in the LOTR/HOBBIT section

I thought in 6th the PFG also affected the LR as well, just no 'bubble'. Now it doesn't even affect the transport vehicle.

If the power field only affects the models inside it's surely better to lose the vehicle than the squad of badasses inside (though if it's a Land Raider or Thunderhawk I suppose that'd be an upsetting loss lol)

Great that they updated fateweaver there, but why no update on the rules for mark of Tzneetch? The reroll 1's is great, but the +3 to LD for manifesting psychic powers is useless in 7th. How does this keep getting overlooked?

While not overly powerful, the +3 LD does help with perils of the warp tests. So it is far from useless.

Because FAQs do not make major changes like that unless the rule is broken.
I would like to see it change in the next daemon book though. Instead of Tzeentch getting easy access to L3 psykers and the mark as it stands, why not cap daemon princes and heralds at ML2, Lords of Change at ML3, and make the Daemon of Tzeentch (daemons of Tzeentch may reroll a single dice when attempting to cast or deny a psychic power)

Agies Grimm:The "Learn to play, bro" mentality is mostly just a way for someone to try to shame you by implying that their metaphorical nerd-wiener is bigger than yours. Which, ironically, I think nerds do even more vehemently than jocks.

Everything is made up and the points don't matter. 40K or Who's Line is it Anyway?

Still can't read them. They must have updated their meta tags to include the word "game". In the past I was able to read them as long I went directly to the PDF and bipassed the BlackLibrary wesite.

You're assuming it's unintentional. I don't think that's the case.

Daemons in 6th:
1. Fearless with no disadvantage (can still go to ground).
2. Introduce disadvantage (daemonic instability with low leadership values).
3. This screws over Tzeentch which is based around psychic powers.
4. Introduce special rule to fix Tzeentch's psychic issues.
5. 7th comes out, 3 is no longer an issue and 4 becomes irrelevant.

In short, there's nothing to fix.

Well, they usually post a comment saying 'Ignore this particular sentence' if something is no longer relevant. And this seems like an important enough one to mention, as it pertains to a now altered game rule, which effects a bunch of models in the army. They've been pretty good about faq'ing , stuff as of late, so maybe they'll catch it, and make a comment on it one way or another.
