Decided to finally join up after browsing around the forums a bit. My friend and I are both new to this game and war games in general. We both played warhammer on PC but this was a while back.

I was actually in a games workshop location to buy some paint to repaint some action figures and that's what got this whole 40k thing started.

We are both still getting familiar with the game and constantly pawing through the rulebook. We bought our first sets just a few days ago. He hasn't started but here's what I have so far.

Only thing was I did not realize that all the ork boyz had to have either all shootas or all sluggas

Going for an icy\frozen theme. Also started some custom bases.
