First off it's really nice to see you talking about your Chaos Dwarfs with enthusiasm and excitement.
Very generous of Frontline to step up and get your figures up to a standard you're happy with.
My brother has been getting his Skorne painted up by them and he's been thrilled with the progress and experience so far.

My sweet God-Emperor. The "Before" and "After" looks like one of those shoddy advertisements for suspicious products that in no way could be true. Except, in this case, it IS true
That was one very cool first video, I can't imagine how happy you must have felt once you received the first updated unit.

I'm getting an error when I try and watch this for some reason, even on Youtube. Apparently the best thing to do is to give it half an hour if you have problems. The suspense is killing me.
Yay, it's working. Frontline are doing a great job on the repaints so massive kudos to them, doubly so for doing this for free. Love that community spirit. Really happy for you tenebre!
You mentioned a couple of older armies of yours that you have, anywhere I can get a look at them?

Really excited to play them now!
so i used to have these armies: Skaven 24k, IG 14k, Tyranids 28k, Fantasy Daemons 5k of each faction (back when they all had to be scratch built) and I just started a slaanesh army.
Due to personal issues i sold everything i had. I just returned to gaming a year or so ago when i started buying my Dwarves. I now have Orks and since my Slaanesh army was not fully realized, I decided to do it now.
The other armies (like skaven I love) but i had worked so long and hard to rebuild them just doesnt feel good. So the answer is sadly no. I wish i took pictures.
I'm sorry to hear that, sounds like quite the collection. You should start a blog for the projects you are building now, I'd love to follow your progress, I'm a big fan of Slaanesh in particular.

I am going to start one for my orks.
For slaanesh would be more interesting to see a unit at a time or wait for the whole army to be assembled?

I think everyone likes to see an army slowly growing

Yeh updates on progress is almost always better than an info dump. Have a look at a few blogs around Dakka and get a feel for the pace of their updates would be my advice.

Over time is always better. I cant wait to see your orks and chaos forces Ten
Guys over a Frontline are great. They have done over 10,000 points of Guardsmen for me and just finished a 2,000 point Space Wolves project. The reason I heard about you experience with BTP was because I was gaming with one of the artist that was going to be helping touch up your guys a few weeks ago. Jason has been great at keeping in touch with me and giving me updates along the way to make sure colors and such are to my liking as well. I always carry some of Frontline’s business cards around with my army so anytime people comment on how they look I give them a card. Only down side now a days is that they’ve gotten so popular that they have closed their shop hours down some so they can concentrate on painting more and I can’t go and bug them as often and hangout.
BAO 2015 : Best Space Wolves.
The best battle plans are the simplest. Just run forward and punch your enemy in the face.
I'll be watching these.
It's a brave company to take on a project when the customer has such a specific idea of what they want.
Quality aside I just think that the less stylistic painting of Frontline was more what you were after in the first place.
Looking forward to seeing more.
Still before and after pics in the thread would be nice.

Oli: Can I be an orc?
Everyone: No.
Oli: But it fits through the doors, Look!
Me and my gaming group have been looking into their Gaming Mat's, and hearing about them Touching up your army for free goes a long way in getting good creed in the community... . And I think the Bulls turned out really good

I liked the work they did on the repaint so much I am purchasing a number of 6x4 gaming mats for friends this Christmas just as a way of saying good job.
Those mats are expensive, but I really want to put my financial backing behind companies that behave ethically and step up to do the right thing by their customers.
Anyone have a preference between Urban Combat or Urban Combat 2? They both look really good.
They both have their strengths. 1 has more detail in terms of things in the streets flares etc. It also has 40k deployment zones intuitively marked out.
2 is nice because the streets aren't at right angles so there are more interesting options for terrain placement if you stick to the layout.

Lots of requests were made for the Urban Combat mat to be done slanted, but to no avail as they were on a tight timeline and had already finished the initial design. Unfortunately, the Urban Combat 2 pictures I can see don't look as detailed as the Urban Combat 1... so even though it's slanted, the awesome detail of the first mat is lacking (at least on the website sale picture - I'd love to be wrong and for there to be other pics showing that it does indeed have more detail elsewhere).
