Hey guys it has been a awhile since I have seen one of these threads. I am interested in seeing others people's armies. So if you have a picture or pictures of your army please post them! A model count along with this picture would be nice as well. I will get my armies up next week after exams. Show off your armies, for the rest of us to ogle over!

Here is the start of mine. I have been playing IG/AM the entire 3 years playing. These first shots are my air and armour. (sorry for the quality. still learning the art of picture taking. I will take some better ones later) Quite a bit of my army is scratch built. I will get pics of my troops and Sentinals later.

I have been taking a break for a while. But been thinking of coming back.

Perhaps the Vault of Schrott and the Forge shall reignite the fires of war? I have plenty of stuff to finish and enough ideas to create a lot more war machines. I need to paint the Rage of the Heavens as well... the giant War Zeppelin.

This is my roommates Chaos army, now these pictures are old because he has added 15,000 or so points including a renegade army, and Angrath and a Lord of skulls. But nevertheless here are some photos, total he has about 50,000 points of chaos. This is your 6 x 4 gaming table. He also has managed to get the chaos marine limited edition, so all his codex's are limited edition, including the FW renegade one. Pictured is about 30,000 - 35,000 points.

To give you an idea SOME of the stuff not photoed includes:

1x Angrath
1x Lord of Skulls
2x Helldrake
12x Various Renegade tanks
2x Vindicators
100x Various marines (FW Beserkers, normal beserkers, normal chaos marines)
100x Renegade cultist and guardsmen
2x Landraiders
4x Rhinos
3x Daemon princes (think he is up to 15)
4x Weapon Batteries
10x FW Khrone Terminators
1x FW Khorne Terminator lord
1x Maulerfiend
6x Spawn
a bunch more I can't think of.

Not all as such as i have at least 15 marines unpainted or partway at time of taking, a dread, 2nd land raider etc.
also a good number of unpainted guardsmen i have not got round too.

Total off top of head is 50 guard, 88 marines of varying types from 2nd edition metal to modern plastic. some are older than me!

rough total with normal upgrades i use. 4600 points. 4000 being marines.

Wow that is a lot of Chaos!

Having recently getting back into 40k after putting my Tyranid Hive Fleet into storage around 5th edition, it is coming back out of slumber and is getting ready to consume stuff...

Well, my Tyranid army is coming out of slumber (link in my sig *hint, hint* )
but I've finished these guys.

One of my platoons. Command squad, 3 infantry squads, heavy bolter squad, and a 5-man stormtrooper squad thrown in for fun. I think this was for a combat patrol game a while back (~400 points):



Most of my marines that I've gotten around to painting (outside of my terminators). ~1250 points.

1 Librarian
1 Predator (autocannon, heavy bolter sponsons)
2 Dreadnoughts (assault cannon/power fist for each)
1 Devastator squad (4x plasma cannons; they kill themselves more often than they kill anything else)
1 Razorback (twin-linked lascannon, dedicated for Devastators)
3 Tactical squads (veteran sergeant, plasma gun for each)
3 Rhinos (2x storm bolters each, 1 for each tactical squad)

When I find some time I shall post my Space Wolves.

My Imperial Fists 3rd company WIP

I really don't know if it's worth showing what I've got. It's mostly just Dark Vengeance and the expansion pack for it, with some bits and bobs added in. Most of the painting is WIP, almost nothing is highlighted and the Black Knights and Deathwing Knights are only half painted.

I think it's a worthwhile addition to the thread and a nice looking army! Don't be so hard on yourself, dude.

Here's an old pic of my 12th Methuselan Armored Cavalry Regiment



The squads are all metal Steel Legion minis. It's been growing a unit or two at a time since I built the core of the army back in 2000.

As promised, my Minor Order, with a few friends!

A quick note before the pictures, as I have nerve damage, painting is a physical impossibility to me, so I rely on quality work from friends and folks here. I'd like to specifically point out J'santai Khan and spiralingcadaver for their work (Khan for many of the infantry and vehicles, and cadaver for the custom converted Canoness in gold).

As far as points, I do not have it worked out yet, but the rough estimate (if I include my unpainted stragglers and the like) is somewhere in the 6000-7500 point range.

It is a Celestine conversion, and the wings are from a Dark Eldar Scourge.
